Heidi Montag Finds Criticism of Wedding “Extremely Disappointing”

Heidi Montag is speaking out for the first time since marrying Spencer Pratt in Mexico on Nov. 24.

Her eloping has shocked many, including her mother, Darlene Egelhoff, who tells the new issue Us Weekly that Spencer may have drugged her daughter to get her to marry him.

“I want to make it very clear to family, friends and fans that the decision to marry Spencer was very much mine. It was a beautiful day, and I’ve never been happier,” Heidi tells Usmagazine.com exclusively. “For someone who wasn’t even there to suggest otherwise is extremely disappointing.”

Her mother tells Us she gives the marriage six months, but Heidi says, “I look forward to everyone seeing the footage of our time in Mexico on The Hills, so they can see for themselves what a joyous occasion it was.”

And what about questions of the foreign union’s legality? Pratt says he’s heading to the courthouse.

“I’m on it. In my mind, it’s as legal as the ring on my finger,” he tells the new issue of Us Weekly. “But I wouldn’t want everyone going around saying, ‘It’s not real.’”

Beyonce is losing out on hours of beauty sleep - because she’s addicted to staying up late and watching fans perform her famous dance moves online. (My all time favorite fan version is the one above)

The success of Knowles’ catchy tune Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It) blew up when the star shook to the beat in her new music video, wearing only a body-hugging leotard and high heels.

The singer found her inspiration after stumbling across a clip of a 1960s Bob Fosse routine called Mexican Breakfast on video sharing website YouTube.com.

And now she can’t stop surfing the net for spoofs.

She tells U.S. magazine OK! “It’s beautiful, it’s amazing and I love it! I stay up all night watching them.”

Tom Cruise: I Bought Katie Engagement Ring After First Date

Tom Cruise admits he fell hard for Katie Holmes.

“I knew I wanted to marry Kate when I met her,” he says in the Dec. 7 issue of T: The New York Times Style Magazine, in which he and his wife of two years appear on split covers for the “Holiday/Reinvention” issue.

When Holmes confessed to him that she dreamed of marrying him as a little girl, “I said I wouldn’t want to disappoint her,” Cruise says.

So, the actor says, he bought Holmes an engagement ring shortly after their first date in 2005.

“At one point, I thought she was going to ask me to marry her first and I put her off by changing the subject,” Cruise adds. “I wanted to ask her.”

In a separate interview, Holmes — who says she “admired him growing up” — admits she also was “completely in love” after their first meeting.”He was so warm, and I thought, ‘Wow,’” says the star. “I thought, ‘You can be a superstar and a human being.’

“He made me feel so amazing,” adds the actress, who welcomed their daughter Suri in 2006.

Since her romance with Cruise began, Holmes says, “My life has expanded. My family and friends are all a part of this bigger life.”
