The success of Knowles’ catchy tune Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It) blew up when the star shook to the beat in her new music video, wearing only a body-hugging leotard and high heels.

The singer found her inspiration after stumbling across a clip of a 1960s Bob Fosse routine called Mexican Breakfast on video sharing website YouTube.com.

And now she can’t stop surfing the net for spoofs.

She tells U.S. magazine OK! “It’s beautiful, it’s amazing and I love it! I stay up all night watching them.”

Tom Cruise admits he fell hard for Katie Holmes.

“I knew I wanted to marry Kate when I met her,” he says in the Dec. 7 issue of T: The New York Times Style Magazine, in which he and his wife of two years appear on split covers for the “Holiday/Reinvention” issue.

When Holmes confessed to him that she dreamed of marrying him as a little girl, “I said I wouldn’t want to disappoint her,” Cruise says.

So, the actor says, he bought Holmes an engagement ring shortly after their first date in 2005.

“At one point, I thought she was going to ask me to marry her first and I put her off by changing the subject,” Cruise adds. “I wanted to ask her.”

In a separate interview, Holmes — who says she “admired him growing up” — admits she also was “completely in love” after their first meeting.”He was so warm, and I thought, ‘Wow,’” says the star. “I thought, ‘You can be a superstar and a human being.’

“He made me feel so amazing,” adds the actress, who welcomed their daughter Suri in 2006.

Since her romance with Cruise began, Holmes says, “My life has expanded. My family and friends are all a part of this bigger life.”

Actor Mark Ruffalo’s younger brother Scott was gunned down at his home in an execution-style attack, according to new reports.

Scott Ruffalo, 39, was reportedly found with a gunshot wound to the back of the head on Monday (01Dec08) and remains in a critical condition in intensive care at a Los Angeles-area hospital.

According to the New York Post, hairdresser Ruffalo was at his condo in a middle-class Los Angeles neighbourhood when the shooting took place at 1.30am.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant Tony Lee tells the New York Daily News there was “suspicious activity” at the location.

He adds, “If there was a shooting, our detectives would investigate whether it was homicidal, accidental or suicidal. We haven’t pinpointed anything yet.”

Mark Ruffalo’s spokesperson Jessica Kolstad said the actor is with his brother, adding, “I don’t have any further comment because there is an ongoing police investigation.”

Scott Ruffalo is married to fellow hairdresser, Luzelena Ruffalo, and is stepdad to her daughter, Lucinda.

Britney Spears took her two little boys Sean Preston 3, and Jayden James 2, to FAO Schwarz for a little toy shopping. Her parents Jamie and Lynne Spears also came along to enjoy the fun. After 10 minutes of shopping with the boys Britney Spears wasn’t seen for the rest of the hour and a half shopping excursion. It was speculated that she might have snuck out of the store making a quick get away to lose paparazzi and go enjoy the Big Apple with some friends.

Yeah, that sounds about right.
