Rosie is reliable.

Rosie has cancelled all her interviews that were scheduled to promote her new book “Celebrity Detox”. This includes her sit down interview scheduled with Diane Sawyer. “We were looking forward to having Rosie as a guest on the program. Unfortunatley, we were informed she has decided to cancel all of her interviews.” On her blog, Rosie hinted at the decision, saying “I do not feel ready to discuss or defence the things I shared on those 209 pages.” A rep for Rosie said, “The book is a very personal snapshot of a certain time in Rosie’s life, and she felt she bared her soul on those pages. She feels people should read the book and take away from it what they will. She does not want to do any interviews.”
Way to create press Rosie, way to work the media. I’m sure she is adored by all media outlets.

Here’s a thought – if she wasn’t ready to discuss what she wrote and put out there for public consumpton, she shouldn’t have published it. What a pathetic ploy for publicity.

And if she did a whole mess of interviews surrounding the book, everyone would be screaming that she’s milking it and that the book covered all that and she should shut up about it already. I admire her on many levels for many things, but how she continues to be herself in the face of all the unreasonable hate most of all.
