Brit’s hairstylist (Ken Paves) quits before VMA’s:
Before her now-notorious performance at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas, Britney Spears had a spat with celebrity hairstylist Ken Paves, PEOPLE reports in its latest issue, on newsstands Friday.
Weeks before the awards show, “Britney had requested his two female assistants [to do her extensions] since she prefers women around her,” and was disappointed when Paves himself arrived, says a Spears source. The stylist soon left, taking his hair with him.
“He bailed,” says the source. Says Paves’s rep: “Ken made the professional decision not to do her hair for the VMAs.”
That wasn’t Spears’s only problem – there was also a wardrobe flap. An MTV rep says costumers picked out a form-flattering corset for her to wear, but Spears chose a bikini instead.
Britney calls herself a “fat pig”:
No one was more shocked watching Britney Spears’ performance at MTV’s Video Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday night than the 25-year-old popstar herself.
“She was also able to see video of herself throughout the auditorium,” a backstage source tells Us Weekly. “She flipped out. She came running off the stage, yelling ‘Oh, my God, I looked like a fat pig! I looked like a fat pig!’ She was inconsolable.”

I know everyone is talking about how “fat she looked”, I think she looks good. I think she still has a nice body, she has 2 kids and eats cheetos like they are going out of style and smokes… you go girl… lol

I think she looks great too. Most of the people saying that she’s fat would probably kill to have her body.
Yes, her “performance” sucked, but she’s definitely not fat.

I don’t get the fat comments either. Sure, her performance sucked but I think calling her fat is crazy! She’s had 2 kids and is 25. She’s never going to have that “oops I did it again” body. She’s far from fat!
I also thinks it sends a horrible message to little girls when people are calling Britney fat.

I agree with everything said. However, she could have dressed differently, complimenting her body changes and STILL looked “sexy”, as she is so fond of saying.

I think the fat comments are stemming from the outfit she chose, too. I think if she had done maybe one thing right, they wouldn’t be calling her fat right now. She’s making it too easy to pick on her.

I think she is far from fat too. Her body has changed since having kids, but I think it still looks good. Once she gets serious, starts eating right, and working out, I think she will be right back to where her body was before kids. It’s a shame that a lot of the media are focusing on her body, yeah, it was a bad performance, but her body wasn’t as bad as they say. Plus, on the news you see her performance over and over, but no one has said how out of line Sarah Silverman’s lines were. It’s like it’s acceptable and funny to make remarks about someone’s kids. Sarah’s appearance was uglier than Brit’s in my opinion.

I do not think Britany looked fat, she looked normal. HOWEVER, according to reports, even SHE is calling herself fat. So I guess its ok to join her! What I want to know, is if she chose that bra and panty outfit and saw herself on the monitors and though “I looked like a fat pig” what the hell did she think on any other given day when she looked in the mirror? Please tell me she at least looks in the mirror on a daily basis. Poor girl is still just looking for excuses and blaming others. Pathetic.

I feel kind of bad for her. No female likes to think as themselves as fat. She needs to sit down somewhere a get her head together and her kids.
