Britney Spears Sheds Tears Over Comeback
Viewers weren’t the only ones that were disappointed by Britney Spears’ big comeback performance at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards in Las Vegas.
Following a dismal performance of Spears’ new single, “Gimmme More,” a source tells Us that Spears was spotted “crying badly [backstage]. She’s devastated. She was really nervous and knows she screwed up.”
The singer may have had an inkling of what was to come prior to her performance: A VMA insider tells Us that Spears fired her hairstylist right before going on.

judging from how much press is still going on about Brit, perhaps her fate is not sealed yet. People must still be interested in her even with her VMA botch up.

This has nothing to do with Britney, but did anyone think Paris looked bad? I don’t like her, never really thought she was pretty, but she looked bad last night. Her hair was too poofy or something. She just didn’t look like her normal self. Her hair doesn’t need all that fullness, she looked twice her age to me.

i like how britney fires her hairstylist before she goes on as if the girl had much to work with in the first place. i don’t think that her hair looked bad. actually britney looked pretty good other than her outfit. she has definitely lost her confidence but i think she can survive this. everyone needs to stop making such a HUGE deal about a “comeback” and just let her do her thing.
oh and i agree renae b. paris looked awful. she looks like she’s getting ready for a remake of “the golden girls.”

I thought she looked good too, except for the blank look on her face, and the outfit was too too much. I think she was drunk or high or both…too much partying the 3 days prior?

i heard she was upset about silverman’s jokes about her, which she supposedly learned right before going onstage.

Wow what show were you guys watching that said she didn’t look bad? That weave look beat down seriously. She made the Flavor Of Love girls weave jobs look amazing. And that beer belly was just too much. She has extreme “gut-butt”. For those that do no know, that is when your gut sticks out more that you butt. And for the whiners that say “she just had two kids”, oh well she has enough time and money to go to the gym and work it out. If your trying to make a comeback, make sure your body is in comeback shape.
