Gimme Less, Gimme Less, Gimme Gimme Less…
I’m just now getting to the VMA’s because I had to get the boys down – BUT I did catch Britney’s opening. Is it wrong that I LOVED the fact that she SUCKED!? The web is all aflutter with how Britney BOMBED at the VMA’s tonight. She looked awful! Did she forget how to dance? Was she high or something?
Here’s a hilarious recap I thought summed it up pretty accurately.
Britney Spears has sealed the deal. Her career is over!
During her “performance” on Sunday night’s VMAs, Britney showed the world that she has even forgotten how to lip sync.
Much to my dismay, Britney didn’t even try to sing “Gimme More” live. She took a stab at lip syncing all of the words that she could remember.
Wearing her home bedazzled underwear and whorish looking fishnet stockings, Spears seemed lifeless and completely out of it!
Her lacklustre dance routine did NOT feature any “magic” as promised by the excuses she and Criss Angel have given for hanging around with each other so much. Does this confirm that these two fruit cakes are dating?!
The crowd shots showed her peers looking on in embarrassment with flashes to Chris Brown, 50 Cent and Diddy, all who looked shocked. They even showed Rhianna and her gal pal laughing out loud!
It really sucked that bad.
This is probably the best sign we have gotten that Britney’s “comeback” is going to be a HUGE let down.
Maybe Kanye West was right? He probably would have been a better opening act. Or Maybe Britney should have done a little less partying with Diddy last night!
She’s DONE. OVER. A HAS BEEN. What do you guys think? I’ll post more from the VMA’s tomorrow. For now, I gotta go finish watching it!

where were the fierce choreographers she had in the past? her performance actually made me a little sad. i’m not really a fan, but things have been going so badly for Brit that i think everyone was rooting for her…even if it was just a little bit.
maybe she had already given up by the time she performed.

Somehow, I am NOT surprised! I didn’t watch–I FORGOT the VMAs were tonight…but just seeing her in that outfit–UGH! She has too much FLAB around the middle now!

I was rooting for her tonight, as this may have been the beginning of her “reviving” her career. Unfortunetly, her performance lacked in those attempts. It was as if she was just not into it. Her outfit did her no justice either, she tried too hard to regain her sex figure persona, but the outfit was so cheap with her nappy hair. I was saying to the hubby, this girl has so much $$$ how can she not afford a spectacular outfit or decent hair extensions! Although I will say that I loved her boots. Sarah Silverman just added fuel to the fire, I had to turn her off 2 mins into her opening, she was just so dry and unfunny. I give her credit for getting back on the stage and performing live for millions tonight, but I think she should’ve taken more time to perfect a kick ass in your face performance that we are all used to seeing out of Brit. IMO, her back-up dancers upstaged her tonight. I think Brit just partied way too much this weekend…..

I to was routig for hr failre but was fully EXPECTING he toactually come out wth something exciting. I ws SO blah! It looked like she didnt even try. Where was chris angel??

My four year old came in the room, saw like five seconds of Britneys performance and said “Mommy this is ridiculous!” I think that says it all.

She looked like she didn’t even really want to be there. Did you see the people in the audience..they weren’t looking to excited about her performing either! I just can’t get into her anymore. It’s hard for me to look past the fact she’s such a crappy mom.
When is she going to take the weave out! I am sure her hair should be long by now! She’s trying to hard to look like she did when she was 18. It’s not working anymore.

She can’t dance anymore. I thought at least she was a good dancer even if she had a horrible singing. Yeah you’re right she’s done. And couldn’t she afford a better stage costume? She looks like a 2 $ hooker seriously!

Ok, it wasnt the best performance but i think everyone is being so over the top harsh on the girl. The song was pretty cool i thought & thick & flabby?? What planet are u living on. I’m about to have my 2nd baby & would be chuffed to look like that afterwards.

I dont think that people are calling her fat…she had 2 kids she should have dressed a little better…what she had on just made her look silly…and the fact that she wasn’t even ’singing’

Okay – well, even Britney herself once admitted she can’t sing. The only reason people liked her before was because she was hot and could dance with practically no clothes on. She still has the lack of clothes, but for the love of all that’s right with the world, I could have done a better job with that song. What a joke.

I thought her make up looked great,in my opinion she looked really pretty. I didn’t like the hair, and the outfit did not flatter her figure. She could have looked sexy wearing something different. She should have threw off a wig, and said it’s Britney Bitch, and just went all out. I was disappointed! I don’t even like her, but I did wanther to do good last night. She has no one to blame but herself, knowing that she had all eyes on her, she should have took it more seriously. She needed to practice instead of party. I did like her boots, but the hills were way to high for her to dance in. When she put her hand above her eyes, I felt sorry for her, it was like she was looking at the audience, realizing it’s over for her. Poor girl, really needs to re-evaluate her life.

OMG where to start? I did like her makeup made her look pretty but the hair and the outfit was horrible. Didnt she think she should’ve washed or atleast change that weave of hers for this big night? The outfit was horrible. She looks good for having 2 kids no doubt but she could have worn something more flattering to her shape and it would’ve been something less for people to talk about. Her performance was a disaster. I was hoping to see her perform her ass out and show to everyone that she can make a come back but man oh man did she suck big time. Did you guys noticed that most of the celebs were anxious to see her perform? And during it, people were having their own conversations, they were looking at her in shock, disappointment, and everything else you’re not supposed to do during a performance. I feel sorry for her. I think she should just move on and take care of her kids. By the way, i thought it was hilarious was Sarah Silverman said about her! Brit brought all this upon herself.
