Jennifer Garner’s Breast Worries
Jennifer Garner was so worried about injuring her breasts during fight scenes for new movie The Kingdom, she banned the cast from hitting her in the chest.
The Elektra star plays U.S. Special Agent Janet Mayes alongside Jamie Foxx and Jason Bateman in the Middle East action thriller, and underwent grueling training in preparation for the role to ensure her fight scenes looked as convincing as possible. And Garner, 35, admits she was very protective of her bosoms, because she was still breastfeeding her now 18-month-old daughter Violet at the time.
She says, “It was so down and dirty that I had scratch marks that we had to cover up on my face for the next few days. (But they) had to stay away from my boobs. Because I was breastfeeding. That was the one sacred thing. (They) could go for my head, pull my hair, just not the boobs.”

A breast-feeding mother who also happens to be an actress filming fight scenes asks the people she’s working with to watch out for her breasts during fight training. Sounds perfectly intelligent, reasonable, aand completely non-newsworthy. Why have so many blogs attempted to create an item about this?

dear lord..what could have possibly happened to them? were they fighting with swords? i’ve breastfed all 3 of my kids and i’m not sure what the big deal is..if you have been nursing for any amount of time, your breasts should not be sore, unless she was not pumping and was engorged, but i kinda doubt it. sounds like the “any publicity is good publicity” hollywood stunt.
Breastfeeding or not I would be worried too.
If she’s breastfeeding, I think that would be really painful to get punched in the chest.

Give me a break. If a man’s chest swelled to twice it’s normal size and started weeping cloudy liquid, he’d be at the hospital asking why they haven’t given him better drugs. Her request seems very reasonable.
