Jessica Alba, Verne Troyer (Austin Powers), and Romany Malco (Blades of Glory, 40-Year-Old Virgin) have joined Mike Myers in the cast of The Love Guru for Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Entertainment.
Myers will play Pitka, an American raised by gurus in India who moves to the U.S. where he gets involved in resolving a rift between a professional hockey player (Malco) and his estranged wife, who starts an affair with a rival hockey player. This sends Malco’s character into a professional slump.
Alba plays the hockey team owner and Troyer plays the coach. Myers is producing with Michael De Luca. The movie is slotted for a June 20 release. Alba will next star in the romantic comedy Good Luck Chuck with Dane Cook and the thriller The Eye for C/W Prods.

Lily Allen has been shooting a music video in LA – despite being banned from working in America.
The singer had her working visa revoked on entry to the US over an alleged violent clash with a London photographer in March.
But despite not being allowed to work there, the star was out in LA yesterday filming the video to her next single.
Insiders say she was given special permission to make the film.
Allen, 22, was given an O-1 visa which allows people with extraordinary skills in the fields of sciences, arts, education, business, athletics, motion picture or TV to work temporarily in the US.
Her visa was revoked when she was detained for five hours at LAX airport on Sunday after she flew in from Australia.

Amy Winehouse is on the verge of checking into rehab, a close friend said today.
The 23-year-old singer is “seriously considering” the move after emergency treatment in a London hospital for a suspected overdose.
Despite growing concern at her wild partying, the star had always said she would not seek professional help.
But a friend revealed she’s “very close” to changing her mind, adding: “Amy got a massive fright when she was hospitalised and is finally coming round to everybody’s pleadings with her to go to rehab.
“She now realises she may need help as her lifestyle finally take its toll. She’s currently discussing the best plan of action with close friends and family.”
Amy is resting at an undisclosed location after being released from University College London Hospital.
A spokesman for Island Records said she was suffering “severe exhaustion” but reports suggested she had her stomach pumped yesterday after she collapsed.

Kevin Federline has filed an order to show cause for primary physical custody of his two sons with ex-wife, Britney Spears, according to a source.
The documents were filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday by Federline’s lawyer, according to the source.
Spears and Federline’s divorce was finalized less than two weeks ago. At the time, the couple agreed to split custody 50-50 of Sean Preston, 22 months, and Jayden James, 10 months.
But a source close to Federline told PEOPLE that the would-be-rapper was worried Spears was exposing the boys to “unnecessary risk” and that his lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, “hopes to get Kevin primary custody.”
In June, when the couple were wrangling over their divorce settlement, Federline was still resisting signing the papers over growing concerns about Spears’ erratic behavior.
Spears, who spent a stint at Promises rehab center, has been a fixture on the nightclub and party scene. The news of Federline’s request for primary custody comes as photos have surfaced of his ex-wife reportedly topless in a hotel pool.
Calls to Spears’s lawyer were not immediately returned.
