Donald tells Page Six he’s talking with Britney Spears about appearing on his upcoming “Celebrity Apprentice,” and that Paris Hilton has also expressed an interest in being scrutinized by the mega-mogul. He’s also planning to call Lindsay Lohan this week to see if she’d be willing to try to salvage her plummeting career on the show.

“We’re negotiating with Britney right now. Can you imagine her doing it?” Trump told Page Six. “We’re not sure what will happen. She’s a [bleep]ing mess. And that little reality show she had did nothing. But she likes the idea of being on television and I think she’d be great.” Hilton, he adds, “wants to be on, and we’re thinking about it, but I don’t know if we’re going to do it.”

And Lohan? “Another [bleep]ing mess. We haven’t asked her yet, but I’m going to call her this week. It would a positive thing for her to do . . . for all of them,” he says.

Hilton’s spokesman, Mike Sitrick, said he wasn’t aware of any deal but acknowledged that Trump and Paris’s father, Rick Hilton, are friends. Reps for Spears and Lohan didn’t get back to us.

In the meantime, Trump says he’s already signed an eye-popping list of A-listers, B-listers and has-beens to be subjected to his notorious “You’re Fired” treatment.

NBC is adding former “Veronica Mars” star Kristen Bell to the cast of “Heroes.”
Peacock has snagged Bell for a key multiepisode arc of its sophomore sensation. Casting is a major coup for NBC since Bell — who plays the title character in Judd Apatow’s upcoming “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” — was reportedly being sought for several TV gigs, including a part on ABC’s “Lost.”

Bell will make her first “Heroes” appearance in October. She’ll play Elle, a character described as a sexy, mysterious young lady who has ties to the supposed death of Peter, H.R.G.’s past and the future of Claire. Elle will kick off her arc by committing a serious crime, though it’s unclear whether she’s good or bad.

“This was not easy to pull off,” said “Heroes” creator-exec producer Tim Kring. “But since we’re an ensemble show, with many arcs playing out through the year, we found a way to jump into a small window in (Bell’s) schedule.”

Universal Media Studios prexy Katherine Pope also hinted that landing Bell wasn’t easy, noting that “many studios (were) chasing her in both film and TV” and that she was happy that Bell “chose to star in our show.”

I don’t know how many of you have Showtime, but if you don’t you should re-consider! I have just watched the first 4 episodes of the third season of “Weeds” and it is SO GOOD! If you don’t have Showtime, you can order it here. There have only been 2 episodes of Weeds so far, but I’ve seen 4 – and I’m telling you, they’re great!

Season 3 of Weeds brings out some pretty impressive guest stars! Joining Weeds this season will be Mathew Modine (yum, yum!), Mary-Kate Olsen, Carrie Fisher and Zooey Deschanel!! Personally, I can’t WAIT to see Zooey – she would be perfect on Weeds!

Weeds airs Monday night’s at 10:00PM.

Following Weeds is another great, new show “Californiacation“. I had an opportunity to watch the first episode, and it’s REALLY funny. I’ve always been a David Duchovny fan, and this role fits him like a glove! Californication airs Monday night immediately following Weeds at 10:30PM.

Showtime’s newcomer, Californication, has got off to a raging start in the US.

The new series staring David Duchovny has received rave reviews and is being touted as the “best new TV show in years”.

Californication is Showtime’s best scripted comedy debut ever, debuting on Monday 13 August at 10:30 p.m.

So basically Showtime is the place to be on Monday’s!

Troy introduced me to the show about a month ago – and I’m totally addicted. Flight of the Conchords follows the trials and tribulations of a two man, digi-folk band from New Zealand as they try to make a name for themselves in their adopted home of New York City. The band is made up of Bret McKenzie on guitar and vocals, and Jemaine Clement on guitar and vocals.

Bret and Jemaine have moved to New York in the hope of forging a successful music career. So far they’ve managed to find a manager (whose “other” job is at the New Zealand Consulate), one fan (a married obsessive) and one friend (who owns the local pawn shop) — but not much else.

Seriously, I’m not sure if I’ve ever laughed harder. Here is a clip of “Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenocero” from episode 3. If you have HBO – check out Flight of the Conchords every Sunday at 10:30PM.
