Owen Wilson releases statement…
It sure looks like the National Enquirer had it right. In my opinion - the following statement seems like Owen did try to commit suicide.
Owen Wilson put out a plea for his privacy Monday after he was hospitalized for undisclosed reasons.
“I respectfully ask that the media allow me to receive care and heal in private during this difficult time,” the actor said in a statement.

I hope the press leave him alone. This is a terrible thing that is happening and very personal. Let’s hope he heals…I pray for Owen and his family members. He is one talented actor AND writer. He just needs to straighten out his life and get off drugs! I hope that he does!
