Are any of you watching Flight of the Conchords?

Troy introduced me to the show about a month ago – and I’m totally addicted. Flight of the Conchords follows the trials and tribulations of a two man, digi-folk band from New Zealand as they try to make a name for themselves in their adopted home of New York City. The band is made up of Bret McKenzie on guitar and vocals, and Jemaine Clement on guitar and vocals.

Bret and Jemaine have moved to New York in the hope of forging a successful music career. So far they’ve managed to find a manager (whose “other” job is at the New Zealand Consulate), one fan (a married obsessive) and one friend (who owns the local pawn shop) — but not much else.

Seriously, I’m not sure if I’ve ever laughed harder. Here is a clip of “Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenocero” from episode 3. If you have HBO – check out Flight of the Conchords every Sunday at 10:30PM.

Also – if you’re interested, you can check out a whole bunch of FOTC episodes on You Tube. These guys are friggin hilarious.

It has to be the worest piece of s–t on HBO! I can’t beleive anyone with half a brain would even be able to watch the firt fifteen minutes of this crap. I love HBO but this program stinks IMHO

WS I can’t believe you think FOTC sucks. It is so unbelievably funny probably the funniest show I’ve ever seen. You guys have to check out all the clips on either hbo or youtube. So funny. I laugh my ass off every time it’s on.
