Reese & Jake still dating…
While doing press to announce her new deal with cosmetics giant Avon on August 1, a wily Reese Witherspoon stashed boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal away in a secret guest suite reserved just for her at the Regent Beverly Wilshire hotel.
The actress, 31 – who reunited with her Rendition costar three weeks ago after a monthlong break – then found time in her busy schedule to grab a private lunch with her 26-year-old man.
After her press commitments were through, the duo spent the night at Gyllenhaal’s Hollywood Hills pad. (“Reese doesn’t have Jake spend the night when the kids are around,” says a source of her daughter Ava, 7, and 3-year-old son Deacon.)
Romantic get-togethers are becoming more commonplace for the couple, who were also spotted having dinner at The Polo Lounge in Beverly Hills July 25.
That should put to rest rumors that Witherspoon was on the verge of reconciling with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, which one source close the star says is pure fiction.
“If any of her friends thought for a second that she was considering getting back together with that a—hole, they would all set up camp at her house to stop her!”

Bryce, give your Toothy Tile agenda a rest. I am not saying Jake isn’t gay, but I hardly think you are in the bedrooms of Jake, Reese, Austin, etc. So, I hardly think you can say anything as fact that Reese is bearding (which is pretty insulting, insult Jake by saying he is closeted, or that it is all PR. US Weekly is perfectly capable of making up stories all on their own. Take your sad TT crap elsewhere.

This is a public forum. I hardly think there’s not room for all sad comments, both yours and mine. I also hardly think there’s no point to mixing a little unadulterated truth in with the ga-ga gossip. What else can you do but perpetuate the fantasy and ignore my post?

I have thought hard about it, Bryce and I disagree with you. I take any gossip whether from a gossip columnist or from a PR person with a grain of salt. I don’t take any of it as proof of anything. Everyone has their own reasons for gossiping and Ted Casablanca has as much of an agenda as any PR person.
