Kevin files for sole custody of the kids.
Kevin Federline has filed an order to show cause for primary physical custody of his two sons with ex-wife, Britney Spears, according to a source.
The documents were filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday by Federline’s lawyer, according to the source.
Spears and Federline’s divorce was finalized less than two weeks ago. At the time, the couple agreed to split custody 50-50 of Sean Preston, 22 months, and Jayden James, 10 months.
But a source close to Federline told PEOPLE that the would-be-rapper was worried Spears was exposing the boys to “unnecessary risk” and that his lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, “hopes to get Kevin primary custody.”
In June, when the couple were wrangling over their divorce settlement, Federline was still resisting signing the papers over growing concerns about Spears’ erratic behavior.
Spears, who spent a stint at Promises rehab center, has been a fixture on the nightclub and party scene. The news of Federline’s request for primary custody comes as photos have surfaced of his ex-wife reportedly topless in a hotel pool.
Calls to Spears’s lawyer were not immediately returned.

Sorry, but yes, he is better. If every husband that went to a “titty bar” lost the rights to their kids, I dare say that would be half of them. I’m not saying that is good, I’m just saying that he has not been strung out in public like she has. She needs help.

She’s needs supervised visitation with her children until they are old enough to take care of themselves. I hope he gets custody.

I dont care what you say, he is no better. She is followed by the paps every sec of her life, if he was I am sure you guys would change your mind. he screwed her head up bad too. he just wants the money it has nothing to do with the kids. no the titty bar isnt bad, but it is no worse that what she is doing?? who cares, everyone hated kevin when they were married now everyone is on the “Kevin band wagon” GROSS LOSERS

I never hated him. I thought he was cute. Still do. Doesn’t mean I like everything about him, but he appears to be a good dad. More than you can say for her right now. She is NOT a good mom, period.

It is a really, really sad commentary on the rest of those 2 boys lives when Kevin Federline is the more competant parent. Girlfriend needs to get herself some real mental health help asap. Not some crackpot LA shrink who specializes in “celebrities”, but someone who will get her on the rights meds and force her to deal with herself. I feel for those 2 little boys.
