I like how he’s taking the whole martyr route. It’s not his fault he dry humped a 14 year old on stage. It’s the club’s fault. He’s just an entertainer - how was he supposed to know? It’s the parent’s fault for letting their daughter out of the house that young. It’s not his fault he was groping her all over, she was asking for it!
More I think about it - the more it irritates me. Oh shut up Akon - and take a little responsibility for what you did!

And what about the guy he threw off of the stage? Yeah the guy threw something at him, but he should have had him thrown out of the concert. Not taking him and throwing him into a crowd and hurting an innocent woman.

Seriously, how can you blame someone that was in an a 21 and over club? Would you have let your own child in there? If So Then it would have BEEN YOUR FAULT! It isn’t like he was at a high school concert doing this shit!!! The blame shouldn’t be on him and I can see where he is coming from. He is being a man - absolutely - but he isn’t going to accept responsibility for something he didn’t intentionally do! I wouldn’t either - would you?????

I have to agree that it was a tasteless thing to do on stage but the fact she was underage isn’t his fault at all. That’s the clubs job, not his! Blame him for looking trashy but not for her being underage.

Honestly, I don’t like Akon’s music at all or really care for him as an “artist”, but this one I don’t feel is his fault. How exactly was he supposed to know how old she was when everyone in the club should have been 21. I saw the video and there is a part where he is on his back with his hands behind his head and she is riding him like a bull, so he did not force her to do anything-she was very, very willing and good at it as well (clearly not her first time).

I agree it wasn’t his fault she was under age and I am so tired of hearing all this PEDEPHILE crap….The club should have ID’d her and her damn parents should have known where she was…..And, just because someone messes around with someone under age (that they didn’t know was underage) doesn’t make them a pedephile. It wasn’t his fault she was 14. She was in a 21 and older club. I think it is her parents fault for letting hger be there (or no knowing where she was). Everyone is so quick to say how disgusting he is for “dancing” with that way, but seriously the girl was happy to dance with him. She didn’t act like it bothered her at all.
