Eddie speaks out!
In a statement released by his rep on Friday, the actor says he “acknowledges paternity of the child Angel, and has paid child support to Ms. Brown as well as covering the expenses of her pregnancy.” The statement continues: “Mr. Murphy and Ms. Brown dated very briefly and never made any plans of ANY sort,” although Brown told Essence.com that “this was a completely planned pregnancy.”
Meanwhile Mel B. was spotted in Miami this weekend soaking it up!
Honestly, it’s hard to know who to believe here. Melanie has claimed that Eddie hasn’t given her a lick of child support, and we publicly saw Eddie deny paternity until there was a DNA test, but if Eddie’s statements about offering child support are true then that adds one more thing to the dramatic saga! I was in Mel’s corner until these pics came out. I gotta agree w/the 1st post. Time to grown up, not celebrate the money that’s going to be coming in even tho the man dumped me hard.

frankly, i don’t believe eddie. he probably figured people in the US would believe him because he’s the bigger star. phfth! because of the way he dumped her and how he’s been absent since, i think he’s a POS and has treated mel like crap!

The Bitch is a washed-up has-been, or barely was, who went off the Pill to Snag herself a Free Meal Ticket. Murphy must now pay for his mistake of trusting this Succubus for the next 18 years, and the funniest thing of all is that he will now be supporting the Child, it’s Mother, and the mother’s new husband as well with his generous “Child Support” payments. Shoulda rented, instead of Leased!
