Trailer time!

I just watched this trailer with Christian Slater, and I have to say I totally got goosebumps. If you ask me – this will definitely be his comeback role. Good for you Christian!

Next is “Gone Baby, Gone” which is Ben Affleck’s pet project. I remember seeing tons of pictures during this movie being filmed, and this is Ben’s pride an joy. The trailer isn’t half bad, either. I think Casey Affleck is a great actor, and in my book it just doesn’t get any better than Ed Harris. Check it out!

Next is “Death Sentence” with Kevin Bacon. This isn’t really my kind of movies…I’m too chicken to watch anything scary. But it’s by the director of “Saw” and there are a whole gaggle of people who will probably watch this. The trailer looks awesome, I love me some Kevin Bacon – that’s for sure. But I probably WON’T be seeing this. I can’t handle too much violence these days. I’m a softie, I know.
So let me know what you guys think!!

If I didn’t know that was Christian Slater on the poster, I’d think it was Richard Dreyfuss.
Speaking of. The Death Sentence poster looks oddly familiar. What am I thinking of? The Fugitive? Some Pacino flick?….Either way, it’s definitely……pretty uhh… phallic.

It reminded me of the Godfather poster…

But maybe that’s wrong too…it does look very familiar!

Hmmm not a big Christian Slater fan, but that one looks okay – a little “Vanilla Sky”-ish, which was weird in a good way.
As for Gone Baby Gone, woohoo!! I love the Affleck brothers, Morgan Freeman and Ed Harris!!
Seriously, though, for the last one, the director of Saw is brilliant. I LOVE those movies!! And I would see anything he’s come out with. Nice picks, Jocelyn.

I really liked the trailers for Death Sentence and He Was A Quiet Man. Elisha Cuthbert looks much better as a brunette. I couldn’t believe that was Christian Slater!!
As for Gone Baby, Gone, eh….I didn’t find the trailer appealing.

I saw ‘He Was A Quiet Man’ at a Film Festival earlier this year and both Christian Slater and Elisha Cuthbert were amazing!

Whoa…I agree, nice picks, Jocelyn. I liked them all. But I think Death Sentence looks amazing. And I don’t like violent movies, either. But I will keep one eye open (and one shut) for this movie.

Don’t think I’ll bother with slater movie but GBG looks good and while I didn’t like the look of Saw, the trailer for Death Sentence looks pretty good and Kevin Bacon as the man who reeks revenge – awesome!

“He Was A Quiet Man” looks really good. I’ll definitely see it.
As for “Gone,Baby,Gone” I can’t wait to see it- the book was AMAZING. The book was better than the Mystic River book, so I wonder if Ben was able to get all the complexities in “Gone,Baby,Gone”. It’s an intense story. “Death Sentence” looks like the shit!! Can’t wait to see that!!

Death Sentance looks AWESOME. As does Gone Baby Gone. I like Christian Slater but that movie looks LAME.

Death Sentence looks amazing. I’d see that movie in a heartbeat.
Gone Baby Gone I’m not too thrilled over BUT Ed Harris is worth watching any day.
He Was A Quiet Man does seem like Vanilla Sky although I do like that movie and you hear all sorts of stories about Christian Slater. So maybe I should just give him a chance and see how his acting skills measure up when he was younger.
Can’t reproduce the Heathers film.
