Angelina depressed over movie flop.

Bad Box office numbers can be a real bummer. According to a source close to Angelina Jolie, 32, the actress is “devastated” by the audience rejection of her movie A Mighty Heart (it has earned just $9 million).
“She poured her heart into the story and can’t believe people don’t understand how important it is,” the insider tells Us Weekly in this week’s issue.
Helping to lighten her mood: a vacation in France with Brad Pitt, 43, and their four kids.
The whole clan is staying at a $13,818-a-week rental manor in Marthon, which boasts a swimming pool and private theater.
(Family friend Mariane Pearl, whom Jolie played in the film, was seen joining them.)
Says an insider, “Brad and Angelina wanted to get away from everything, and France is a great place to do that.”

Sure it’s an important movie…but for Christ sakes this country needs to be entertained…not depressed

It’s called karma. Both Marianne and Angelina are opportunistic skanks. There was a plethora of bad press that showed Marianne Pearl’s true colors. This proves that she i deluded. Marianne Pearle is a pretentious witch who feels that because her husband was killed she should be put on some sort of pedestal and admired. The name of the book alone “A Might Heart” proves what her personality type is.

US Weekly is not a source of truth and light when it comes to this woman or her family, just like the other tabs. Like her friends would talk to them anyway. Just like Maddox spilling to the other rags. Anything to paint them or her especially as either depressed, crying, not eating or otherwise in self pity mode. There were no expectations of a block buster and she said so in her interviews.

Now she knows that she isn’t as loved as she thinks she is.

call me naive, i just think there is no way that a woman whose husband was brutally killed would think “the important thing” was raking in box office dough.

It’s a shame that she lost her husband but the area and line of work he was doing goes with the risk. In the Bible that region will always be at war with themselves and I think Americans and all other countrys are facing the facts. Trying to raise a family without screwing up or losing them is the most important thing on peoples minds. Americans like myself vote for what they get and we really screwed up with Bush. I’m done with freaking politics and voting, so just live your life because it’s over in a flash. You can’t save the middle east or the world!!! Mans point of the view of religion has always screwed us up.

From what I have seen of Angelina’s upcoming movies, they don’t look like blockbuster’s either! That Beowulf trailer is shite!

angie and brad need to go away for a very, very long time..as far as a mighty heart is concerned, they have to had known that it was not going to be a blockbuster. it is old news in a war where hundreds of lives are being taken every day, and hbo had already aired a documentary on daniel pearl..

I thought that A MIGHTY HEART was a LABOR OF LOVE for Ang…I guess she thought that her name would draw FLOCKS of PEOPLE to go see her movie. WRONG!! Like Jo-Ann says, we need entertainment, not depressing films to go to–Harry Potter ANYDAY!

Well, it could’ve been a good story and good movie. The book was great. However, Angie was VERY stilted in it…I thought her performance was terrible. I don’t think she has much depth as an actor. She plays to type…her type…aggressive, kind of crazy, femme fatale. Mrs. Pearl is a strong woman but she is very empathic in real life, Angie didn’t seem to be able to act her way to empathy. The movie stunk…the story remains compelling.

Jolie thought her star power *cough* would bring in the masses to see the movie and they message would be spread inadvertently… She and the pulltoy thought their collective power *cough* and respect *double cough* would make the movie a success… But the masses spoke and it was a resounding NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

I agree that it is an important film but I don’t believe Angie was the right choice. I personally never liked her but I like her less since she “hooked up” with Brad. She has a long reputation as a home wrecker and she is not my choice as role model.

Why is she depressed? It’s not like her movies have been box office successes. She has been in one flop after the other. The woman is truly box office poision. MAMS was successful because people were interested in the relationship. Obviously, there is not a lot of love for her film work.

She is always depressed. Big deal.
god her arms look GROSS in that pic. veins popping out from every angle.
Alls I gotta say is this:
When you got Brad Pitt in your back pocket…how in the WORLD can you be depressed?
Craziness.

If I want to see a story about this damn war, I wanna see one about the NY soldier who threw his helmet then himself ontop of a grenade to save his friends.
I have no intentions of seeing this. terribly sorry marianne & angelina, but i dont see what is so impotant about daniel and not others who have been killed there. (Yes Im an insensitive b*tch)
