Maggie Gyllenhaal Takes Shots at Katie Holmes
Maggie Gyllenhaal took a few pointed shots at Katie Holmes recently when asked about taking over as the lead female role in the next “Batman” movie.
“I’m not walking into Katie Holmes’ performance,” Gyllenhaal said, according to WENN. “I’m thinking of it as an opportunity to play somebody who’s alive and smart. Chris (Nolan) asked me to do this because he wanted me, not because he wants some generic lady in a dress,” Gyllenhaal added.
Gyllenhaal, who normally acts in smaller independent films, blatantly criticized Holmes’ “Batman Begins” performance, which many critics found underwhelming and wooden. Gyllenhaal will take over the Rachel Dawes role in “The Dark Knight,” with Christian Bale again playing the masked hero.

Not that it would take much to keep me away, but count me out of buying a ticket for this one. Maggie can take her Roaring Twenties flapper face and stick to period pieces, please.

Atleast Katie is pleasant on the eyes. Maggie is typical of these 2nd generation stars who had a cake walk into the business and then has the nerve to hold themselves up as superior. This fug face witch will stop plenty of people from going to see the new Batman movie.

Maggie is NOT classy to make comments like that. Her attitude really sucks, they way she always sticks up her middle finger at the cameras. Mags is lucky someone still wants to take a pic. Just wait a year or 2 and she will be at Kitson or Hyde everyday wondering why noone cares anymore.

It’s not Katie’s fault, she was given 4 lines in the movie, the entire film revolved around the male leads.

I agree with Anonymous also. She isn’t even pretty compared to Katie. The only good-looking Gyllenhaal is Jake.
