Heather Mills’ $144 million dollar divorce settlement!
It’s official! Heather Mills is to get a total of $144 million out of her ex-husband, Paul McCartney. She will receive a lump sum of $31 million, and then an additional $8 million each year until their daughter, Beatrice, turns 18. Beatrice is currently 4-years-old.
“The agreement is being seen as a happy outcome, financially at least, for both parties. Sir Paul is paying a smaller lump sum than Miss Mills feels she deserves. But she will still end up with a very large total for someone whose marriage broke up after only four years.”
That’s an insane amount of money. I hope she does something good with it, like donate it to charity or something, since she claims to be such a charitable person.

i’d love to know what one can do to ‘deserve’ all that money. i always hated her for being a gold digger and now she’s proving everyone right. the only way she can redeem herself is by putting all the money toward her land mine charity (i think that’s her thing).

It’s hard to believe anyone could walk out of a marriage after 4 years with that kind of settlement, even if they were married to Sir Paul McCartney. I really warmed to her when she was on Dancing With the Stars, but everyone is right. It will remain to be seen what she does with her money. That’s insane.
