Christina Aguilera talks about Britney

What a very nice thing to say! Although, what do you guys think - Was this a genuine comment or do you think there is an ulterior motive behind it? I don’t know what that motive could be, but it’s just a guess considering the history of their friendship. As I recall they didn’t always get along, and they were definitely eachothers competition for a while.

i like that she spoke her mind without saying that britney made any mistake her life because whe all did ( sometimes worst) the difference is that not everybody saw that. I don’t know if you guys remarked that but the only celebrities who said something about britney defended her. No one judge her, they all just said that we should leave her alone.

I think it’s pretty clear that Christina’s star has definitely risen, whereas Britney’s… not so much. Christina probably feels comfortable commenting on Britney at this stage. She probably feels a great deal of empathy for Britney, having grown up under tha same spotlight & at the same time thinking in her head “THANK GOD THAT’S NOT ME”.

I don’t buy it. She’s doing this because she feels it will benefit her. Or maybe all the nasty things she said was while she was drunk and now that she’s pregnant (and hopefully not drinking) she’s a more positive person. Or maybe because her album did so badly in the US she’s just trying to get her name in the press.

Christina is married now. She has reach a point in her life that she is thankful for what she has. I think her comment were sweet and genuine. Something in short supply in the world.

I think she doesn’t want to say anything rude. She’s grown a lot since she started out, and made her own mistakes in her career (though nothing like Britney’s multiple mistakes), and she’s able to make better judgements in general these days. She seems to be a very kind woman, and doesn’t want to say anything bad (well, because we all know that would turn into it’s own media blitz), and wants to show she’s hoping for the best (as I think we all do, if only for the kids’ sake), and she’s trying to show support. I admire Mrs Aguilera-Bratman these days.
