On ex-boyfriend Joel Madden: “I was really happy in my relationship with Joel. I was with him from age 16 to 18. Those are important years. He’s my first love, so I’ll always care about him. But I definitely feel like a different person now that we broke up. And I DO feel happy!”
On the breakup with Joel: “All of the going out he did after we broke up sort of shocked me. Like, that’s just so out of character for him, and when we were together, he hated stuff like that, so I felt like I just really didn’t know him as well as I thought I did.”
On Joel dating Nicole Richie: “With the amount of time that we had invested in each other, I felt disrespected that he moved on so quickly…But some people don’t want to deal with how they feel, so they cover it up. Rebound! I shouldn’t say that. You know what, though? Now I don’t care.”
On her parents divorcing: “Normally parents get divorced when you’re young and then you just grow up with that being normal. But I’m 19 – basically an adult – and it hit me like a brick in the face…I was confused and finally learned that parents are just people – which is devastating in a way.”
Hilary sounds strong especially since over the last year it seems like she’s been hit with a lot! I wonder if and when we ever know if Nicole is preggers, what Hilary will have to say about that?

I don’t care what anyone says, I think Hilary Duff is beautiful. Her teeth aren’t THAT bad, and she seems like a good role model.

Her teeth are pretty bad compared to how they were before. Sometimes I do see her looking a bit rough, but I like how down-to-earth she seems. I love the excerpt from the interview.

I mean seriously, those who hate her…give a good reason. AND puh-lease don’t make it superficial (i.e. she has bad teeth, she wears bad outfits, she can’t act). That really just comes across as jealously.
I like her because she is one of the few that has not proven to me that she is pathetic excuse of a human. She voluteers and donates BEHIND the camera lenses, and she really appears to be genuine.
Innocent until proven guilty. Can any give a valid, competent reason to think otherwise?? (key words: VALID & COMPETENT)

I totally agree with Narcanon..she is a good girl
Def. one of the best people in hollywood of all ages..she carries herself just like a woman should. She helps out while the cameras are NOT rolling..unlike everyone else who only do stuff like that to get Noticed, she never has a fake smile..speaking of smile, her teeth look good, it gives her a slimmer face..and just in case any of you forgot, being slim is beautiful whether you want to admit it or not..
it makes me so mad when i hear things about celebrities weight..SKINNY is beautiful, FAT is gross..and yea..any fat ladies out there? lose the weight, dont accept yourself and say “men prefer curves” hell no they dont..lol
