Kate Walsh talks about her relationship with Alex Young
I don’t know about these comments. There is something about them that’s off, but I can’t quite put my finger on it. As you all know Kate Walsh, current star of Private Practice, got engaged to her boyfriend, Alex Young, only 3 months after they started dating.
On their relationship: “I know – I’m literally living the dream. But you know when you know. I was not expecting it, so it’s kind of amazing.”
On his looks: Walsh says she loves “everything” about her fiancé, a production co-president at 20th Century Fox, but she admits that she also really likes his looks. “He’s pretty handsome,” she said, adding, “He’s ridiculously handsome!”
On the wedding planning: “He’s really great. He’s there, but he’s not in the way! He wants to contribute.” So, she’s taken charge. “You start getting into this and you don’t want to be a cliché, but then suddenly you’re like, ‘I’m doing all this stuff!’ “
Maybe I just don’t take such whirlwind relationships (especially in Hollywood) seriously. What do you think about their relationship?

I think its because she is still in the honeymoon stage of the relationship. She cant really say anything but that he’s handsome and great…. she doesnt really know him. And he “doesn’t get in the way”? It sounds like she has wanted to get married for a while and went for it even though they havent been together a while. If its meant to be and they realized so soon, then thats wonderful. However, its rare. Best of wishes to them though
