Claire Danes and boyfriend Hugh Dancy out and about in NYC, 7/2
So I went and saw “Evening” on Friday, and I really liked it. It was kind of long, and a bit depressing, but I really liked it.
It was my first time seeing a movie that starred Hugh Dancy (above) and I was blown away by him! He is an amazing actor! And Claire Danes was brilliant as ever. Did any of you guys see this movie? What did you think?

I saw the movie and I thought it was a bit of a let down. And you are right saying it was slow. I was bummed b/c I was super jazzed to go see it. I thought it would be wonderful. But in the book: Harris is engaged and his fiance is preg when he hooks up with Anne. Anne is just a last minute fling for him. Anne fell hard for him but it was unrequited to say the least. Makes more sense that way to me. They should have stuck with the book. The movie was not developed enough.
