Today’s my birthday… I’m 30…
Let’s take a moment of silence. Today I turn 30. I can no longer say I’m in my 20’s. I am very depressed…tell me a joke.
Last night at dinner Cameron said “tomorrow you’re going to be 40!” And I freaked out! He seriously thought I was 39 turning 40! What the heck. And if you’re going to HAVE to turn 30 - why does it have to be on a Wednesday!? I mean why can’t I turn 30 on a Saturday or something where I can drink myself to sleep!?
Now I will wipe the tears off my keyboard. Goodbye 20’s…we had some fun.

Happy Birthday Jocelyn. I’ve seen my 20s and 30s go and while I’m two years into my 40s, I firmly believe life gets better as we get older. My 30th birthday sucked. I didn’t get one funny card. I was really looking forward to it too. It should have been an omen. I turned 30 in October, lost my job the following February, my mom was diagnosed with Hodgkins in March and then died at the age of 60 in July. All in all, a pretty crappy year.
Look at it this way, your years GOT to be better than that.

The 30s are the new 20s, didn’t you hear? That’s what I keep telling myself! I turn 30 on the 17th. I have a feeling I’ll have a pretty bad hangover when I wake up on my bday - since I’ll be camping with the Stovers that weekend. I’ll have a glass of wine for you tonight! Cheers!

JK Being that I turned 30 a whole 19 days ago I can tell you it’s not bad. Since my 30th birthday my skin looks better, I can’t stop losing weight, everyone tells me how beautiful I am, oh and I crap golden eggs its FABULOUS. Or is it just my new daily morphine drip talking? Happy BDay Jizzy

Hahaha!! Okay so far I’ve spent my day working (a little bit), going out to lunch then seeing a movie. I’m now headed to the bedroom where I’m going to put on makeup for my big family dinner…which should be great because I get my present. Which has given my husband an ulcer or something because he’s had to keep a secret for a couple weeks. So far my 30’s are great!

I totally empathize. I turn 30 next week and I’ve been depressed about it for the last 6 months. I lied about my age for the first time in my life cause I had a hard time admitting I was 29!! Anyway, love your site and visit it religiously. Happy Birthday!
