VICTORIA Beckham has hired an ACTING coach in a bid to become a Hollywood star.

Posh, 33, is determined to be an A-list actress and has signed up a top tutor.

A source told The People: “Victoria wants to leave nothing to chance when it comes to making it in the States.

“She knows singing isn’t really an option for her and thinks acting could be her big break.

“At the moment she isn’t a household name over there – but she wants to change all that.

“She’s got a very good agent who has put her in touch with a coach. It is thought she will have lessons before being put up for auditions.”

Victoria will have one-to-one tuition from the top acting coach, who will spend several sessions giving her advice on how to impress on a movie set.

Meanwhile her agent will trawl through scripts and pick out the best roles for her.

Our source went on: “Posh is used to performing in front of the cameras and knows how to carry herself.

“Having done fly-on-the-wall documentaries, she is well aware of what does and doesn’t work. That will be valuable experience when it comes to acting.

“It’s not the first time Posh has tried acting. She trained at the Jason Theat re School in Broxbourne and the Laine Arts Theatre College in Epsom.

“Singing took over – but now she’s hoping to pick up her skill again.”

Last week it was reported Posh has a plan of action to hit the big time across the pond.

She hopes her reunion with the Spice Girls will help put her firmly back on the showbiz map.

And she is planning to use Hollywood pal Tom Cruise to get her the right contacts.

It was recently reported that Posh asked Cruise’s wife Katie Holmes to get her a cameo in her new film Mad Money.

The source said: “Posh thinks acting is the best way to get herself known out there. She’s been seeking the advice of new best pal Katie and is confident she will do well.” Mum-of-three Victoria made a public appearance at the Golden Globes in January, where she did her best to mingle with the biggest names in the movie industry.

She then arranged a dinner date with friend Jennifer Lopez to get advice on launching a fashion label. Our source added: “Victoria isn’t one to do things by halves.

“She is determined to make it – and won’t let anything stand in her way.”

Posh delayed making a US TV show to see hubby David play for England on Friday night. TV chiefs told her she must be in the States to film the £10 million reality programme. But she refused to miss Becks’ return to Wembley.
