Calum Best has a daughter he’s never met.
Lindsay Lohan’s new beau Calum Best has a baby and has never met her.
British model Lorna Hogan gave birth to the 6 lb 13 oz Amelia Grace Hogan last December after a short affair with Calum last year. According to Lorna, he has refused to take a paternity test to confirm that he is the father of the five month old baby girl or even visit the child.
Lorna told the UK’s Sunday Mirror,
“I can’t believe he wants nothing to do with this beautiful little girl. He hasn’t even bothered to call and ask how Amelia is. He is out clubbing every weekend, throwing his money away. He ends up with a different girl on his arm each time.”
Calum’s father is the late British football legend George Best, who died in November 2005 after two liver transplants. Lorna complained,
“George let alcohol destroy him and Calum is heading the same way. While he is out frittering away his money, I am at home looking after his daughter on a tight budget.
It is time he started taking responsibility. I don’t expect him to be the kind of dad to take our daughter to school every day. But I don’t want her to see pictures of him stumbling drunk out of nightclubs with different women on his arm every time.”
She says that she met Calum at a London club and became pregnant accidentally because she was on the pill but the antibiotics that she was taking for a kidney infection prevented the pill from working. She said,
“When I told Calum I wanted to keep the baby he sent me dozens of texts hinting I should get rid of the baby.”
Lorna says of her daughter and her daughter’s grandfather,
“My little girl is gorgeous and has definitely been blessed with George’s good looks. I am proud she is related to him because he was an idol who will never be forgotten. It’s such a shame he will never see her. But I will definitely tell my daughter all about him when she is old enough. She has got the same big piercing blue eyes that he was known for. She is just an angel, so serene and pretty.”

I know we’re supposed to take this stuff with a grain of salt, but the more I hear about this “Best” guy, the more I can’t stand him. If this is true, he needs to grow up & take responsibility.

Why do all women feel that if a man fathers a child he has to take part in that childs life, other that financial support? Some people are just not ready for parenting when it happens. It’s unfortunate that so many of these women use pregnancy to get their hooks in a man. Calum has been an ass for years having sex with Lizzie Jagger on a golf course, dating Kimberly Stewart, and doing just about any woman that crosses his path. She knew the reputation he had womanizing and boozing from the time he was in his mid teens. It is naive of any woman who sleeps with a man like him to expect him to stand up to the plate. If she had any pride she would raise her child without that man I can’t see him having any positive influence in her life. Calum is turning out to be just like his dad.

I agree with gossipig and amara, why should he be responsible for this woman’s “unplanned pregnancy”. She even admits he texted her saying he didn’t want a baby, how much more clear clould he be? Why should she expect anything from him when he didn’t want a relationship with HER. I am a woman so it pains me to say this, but it seems that the responsibility of this woman is sorely lacking. Why would she want to have a baby with a man who doesn’t want to be a father. And how dare she go against his wishes and then just expect him to change his mind. What an idiot.

Yes this girl who is the mother of his child has slept with another half famous person (footballer) and sold her story it’s funny that this girl can talk about calum best in such a way when she is exactly the same.
I am sick of girls who think the world owes them something because they get their t*ts out!! He told her he didn’t want it so whats the big deal? There are many women out there who have the same troubles with getting men to care for children except that these women don’t have a large amount of money by prostituting themselves off to famous people to help bring the child up!!!!

I know this girl as I worked at the paper she started out with her topless modelling. She already had a son who she freely gets her breasts out in front out of and quite frankly she set out to get pregnant by Callum, who is an arse so sob sob if he won’t take responsibility. She should have made him wear a condom, except she didn’t because she wanted this to happen.

I see this in two ways i can see why she want him to take responabilty as if he is the father it not going to be nice for the daughter to grow up without a father figure but in another sense she should have used protection as she knew it could of happened but it seems like she wanted it to happen as she knows how much money he has and she knew she would be reaconised by everyone as the girl that slept with callum best and got pregnant just coz u sleep with a star dnt mean there going to make you one but he should have als used protection it works in everyway

I don’t know why you have sent me this link whoever you are as for one it’s old news but all the same it has just gotten me irate reading it…If that girl knew Calum had a drink problem then why the hell did she take advantage of someone who might not have been in a complete fit state of mind? It’s obvious Calum needed help but she appears to have just helped herself without truly thinking about Calum or HIS feelings…Did she get to know Calum inside out before she had sex with him? Did she talk about contraception/diseases as she didn’t make him wear a condom or say no? Did you talk ANYTHING? I mean if he has a reputation for sleeping around she took a huge risk not to mention what Calum is doing thus again confirming my original thoughts…If Calum was 100% ok he would not be doing the things he does…That’s all he knows until he knows better/how to stop and it IS bad if she has genuinally got pregnant by accident but only SHE knows inside her mind and if there were any alterior motives…Well if she didn’t know what she was doing she will now I hope? Its the basic psychology of it all…Something here doesn’t add up to me though which is why (Not knowing her) if she is innocent and slightly un-educated or if she was out to get what she could from Calum? If Calum truly didn’t want that child at that time then do we really think he should he be forced to do something he does not want to? How would YOU feel? Calum will have feelings underneath his publicised exterior and I dare say if she’d only realised that then things may have been different for them BOTH…I mean why is she complaining? She and her daughter can grow up happy as lots of kids don’t have both parents/no parents (IE some thru divorce/death/adoption) but Calum would have been unhappy/resented not being able to make his own desicion on who he has kids with esp if he didn’t love the girl let alone the ‘guilt’ that he may be feeling deep down in secret? It can’t be easy to make the decision he has made to not have contact but I will stick up for him 100% all the way that he is not to blame here…What that little girl does not know she will not miss as bad as that sounds…This is ALSO what I don’t get? If that was me, I’d be bringing that baby up proudly with no bitterness but with lots of love & fun and I’d explain to her when she was older what happened and how people can get messed up in life and I’d be teaching her the do’s & dont’s as well as teaching her what I could to help her along the way alongside being a more than proud parent…It would be up to the little girl when she got older if she wanted to contact Calum or not…I mean we are all presuming she is Calums without furthur ado? Anyway…Some guys do stand by girls if they get them pregnant but Calum simply needed, in my eyes, help that he didn’t get…It has gotta be awful for everyone’s feelings all round…I personally would NEVER have sex with Calum myself unless I knew it was something he and I really needed or wanted…Together…That’s called a ‘relationship’…I would not lower my standards to have sex with anyone unless I was in a relationship but that’s me and I will one day HAVE that relationship I want with someone special and if not? I stay single and still happy!…As another reader commented, that girl took her own risks by having the sex knowingly…As for her tight budget? Children are starving in Africa…As long as her child has good basic natural foods and lots and lots of love she will thrive…I hope she breast fed too! I really don’t want to sound rude but I sincerely hope she and EVERONE realises how important it is to concentrate on the positives and if she genuinally liked Calum and it just didn’t go as she planned/wanted then why does she not just continue to praise him to her daughter? There is nothing wrong with wanting someone whether they are a baker or a billionaire…All the critisism makes HER look bad NOT Calum…What if that girls daughter becomes a psychologist & goes on to understand her dad but hates her mother for not being understanding etc…One thing I would NEVER do if I had Calums baby against his will/by accident is adsvertise him/her in the paper…Thats not a private, loving, strong relationship/friend thing to do…That seems more like a fame thing…Yeah I’m in the same industry but you have to know where to draw the line and Calum might have respected her if she had gone a different way about it? Who knows…I am not Calums spokesperson but if there’s a job going???!
I wish the girl and her kid well regardless and aas for Calum? Let’s just hope he is now happy and well and living a good stress free fun-filled life like he deserves to live…Calum is ‘proud’ that he is George Best’s son and you know what? So the hell am I…
