Mini Britney hits the big time!
While Britney Spears is battling to resurrect her career, a tribute act half her size is attracting a celebrity following of her own.
Lindsay Lohan, who supported the real Britney at her secret comeback gig earlier in the month, was so keen to catch the half-pint-sized impersonator that she jetted across America to catch the performance.
Terra Jole, 26, better known as Mini Britney, performed a string of Spears’ hits at The Box in New York.
The little copy cat’s concerts are turning into cult events State side. She tours America, bleating out renditions of the superstar’s hits, in concerts that last up to an hour.
Cheered on by Lohan, ‘Mini Brit’ took to the stage last week dressed in a scaled down version of Spears’ red vinyl jump suit from the ‘Oops I did it again’ video.
As she came off stage Lohan was first in the frame to be pictured with the tiny performer.
Jole said: ‘Lindsay approached me and said she wanted to have her photo taken with me.’
‘She said I had done a great job.’
She has a wardrobe filled with miniature made-to-measure Spears ensembles. She changes into four different trademark outfits per gig.
The Texan native said: ‘It depends how long the set is but I have four different outfits.’
‘I’ve got the schoolgirl outfit from Hit Me Baby One More Time as well as the space attendant outfit from Toxic and her sequin-covered body stocking.’
‘The schoolgirl one is a favourite - it’s a lot cooler.’
Standing a good foot and two inches lower than the original Britney, Jole’s staminer seems to be four times more impressive.
The mimicker lasts up to an hour onstage, compared with Britney’s most recent 15 minute efforts at the House of Blues in West Hollywood.
The impersonater has been in showbiz since the aged of five. Her main claim to fame is a small role in Austin Powers 3.
