Sheryl Crow adopted a 2 week old boy!

Sheryl Crow has adopted a 2-week-old boy, the singer announced on her Web site.
The child was given the first name Wyatt after Crow’s father and the middle name Steven after both her younger brother Steven Crow and manager Steven “Scooter” Weintraub, she writes on her site.
“We are enjoying some very private family time,” Crow writes.
Crow’s rep gave no other details except that the child was born in the United States.
The announcement came after Crow, 45, wrapped up a “Stop Global Warming College Tour” – a vegetable oil-powered bus tour with An Inconvenient Truth producer Laurie David of 11 campuses to inform students about climate issues.
Now, her rep tells PEOPLE, “She’s just going to take some time off to be a mom.”
The adoption caps an emotional stretch for Crow. She split with Lance Armstrong in February 2006 and was diagnosed with breast cancer that same month (she has since successfully completed treatment).
Now single, Crow recently told a rodeo crowd: “I’m looking for a cowboy.”

Good for her, glad to see that some celebrities actually adopt from the good ole USA.

Enough with ‘everybody shoud adopt in the USA first’!
Thirld world orphanages have unstandable conditions of living. I am sorry, kids need homes everywhere, but a kid in the USA doesn’t know war, hunger, insanitary stuctures (or at least not to the scale of third world country)….
This is typically American to put the US above the rest of the world, I am sick of that!Travel and get a clue!
Congratulations to Sheryl Crowe, wish her much happiness with her baby.

How did she get the health clearance a year after diagnosis? Do you not need that domesticly?? I know you do overseas. I wish her the best.
