Jenna Jameson: My Secret Cancer Struggle

In November 2004, the world’s most famous adult film actress, Jenna Jameson, went to the dermatologist to treat some veins on her back, and was shocked when the doctor discovered a misshapen mole that turned out to be malignant melanoma.
Then, before Jameson could go into surgery, a blood test revealed that she was two months pregnant. But her joy soon turned to sadness. The day after she received the happy news, the porn star miscarried, probably due to the stress of the cancer.
The following month, Jameson had the mole excised and has been 100 percent cancer-free ever since. In an exclusive interview, the 33-year-old devout Catholic (and author of How to Make Love Like a Porn Star) tells Us Weekly that she’s made peace with her heartbreak.
“If the pregnancy would have lasted, I wouldn’t have had the surgery,” she says. “So it was all in God’s plan.”

Devout Catholic??? WTF??? Catholicism preaches against fornication (sex before marriage), against adultery (sex with other than spouse) and homosexuality (sex with same sex) so how, by the very definition, can a porn actress be a devout Catholic? They are mutually exclusive. Don’t get me wrong – I’m not saying I’m for or against Catholicism and I’m not trying to start a religious debate – I’m just pointing out facts. I just don’t understand how someone can be both a porn actress and devout Catholic at the same time as it is conflicting. Unless she is no longer a porn actress and is born again?

I agree that being a porn star is absolutely counter to being a devout Catholic. Perhaps she was raised a Catholic, but her behavior as an adult does not seem to fit Catholicisms teachings.

That was the main thing that stood out to me in the story as well. A devout Catholic! Ummmmmmmmmmm. She’s a PORN STAR!!!!! That’s the opposite of a devout Catholic. I don’t understand how she is all the sudden in all these photos and at all these events like, “Hey, it’s me. Jenna Jameson.” She’s a porn star. Not an American sweetheart.

its obvious that a pornstar can’t be a devout catholic, but I also believe that people can change. As a catholic I know that we are not supposed to JUDGE PEOPLE and I think it’s really sad what happened to her (the cancer, the baby she lost)

Yeah, poor her. I’m sure that mole was completely devastating. Obviously the author of this story is a complete moron and suspects that we are, too. Second chance? Did she denounce her past as a porn star, or did she write a book about it? Are all of the proceeds of her movies and her book going to the church or to another good cause? I didn’t think so. can say, Jenna. You should repent and you should see light again. It’s hard to put it lightly but I must say it. God loves the sinner but not the sin. You’re going to hell if you do not repent. Please repent. There is still time. Read Job in the bible. He went through so many things sort of like the stuff you’re going through. There was a big difference though he walked in God’s footsteps and there was absolutely nothing wrong with this guy in terms of his integrity. Yet, God took everything from him. He gave Job everything back after Job proved himself. In fact, God gave Job more than what he took and blessed him more than you could ever imagine. He can bless you the same way and give you more than what you have right now. He will give you peace and most importantly a decent living. He will give you more than what you own. He did so many miracles in the Bible. He has not changed. He is the same God and he loves you so much. Don’t let Him cry over you, He wants you to change your ways. It is perfectly fine to judge people’s actions.
To judge whether Jenna Jameson’s soul will actually wind up in hell or not is something only God can know and do.
And Jameson’s actions and occupation and support of immoral sex and profiting from immoral sex and turning many young men towards lust and sin is evil and she MUST change and abandon her line of work, denounce all her past actions and messages and repent of her clear sinful actions, otherwise she stands a GREAT RISK of going to hell when she dies as do all of us who continue to persist in our sins and not acknowledging them and turning to God’s forgiveness & mercy.
