Are you going to watch Notes From the Underbelly tonight?

If you haven’t seen a preview yet (and I’m not sure how THAT’S possible with how much ABC is promoting it) you can see it here. It’s on ABC tonight following a s**ty re-cap episode of Grey’s Anatomy. It’s so friggin annoying!! My DVR said NEW Grey’s Anatomy. I got all excited! Then when I checked to see what it was about – it’s a freaking re-cap episode of all the best moments of this season. Oh who gives a crap! Just give me a new episode already!!
Anyway – you can watch NFTU tonight at 10:00. I’m going to watch it, because hell – what DON’T I watch (except Dancing With the Stars, I SO do not get the appeal of that show). It looks cute, I gotta admit. Watch it – we’ll discuss it tomorrow.

It was funny but way too much baby stuff. I know that is the point of the show but I think they can put some other stuff in there to balance things out. Why did they premiere it at 10pm if it is going to be on at 8:30pm regularly?

The book was fantastic too, if any of you are interested. It’s by Risa Green. Very fast paced and written as if she’s talking right to you most of the time. It’s really hilarious.

I watched part of it, the first 1/2 was funny, (I am like the anti kid chick, married and have no desire to reproduce) I thought it had potential. Then she stops being so anti kid.. even says she’ll try the minivan.. after that, I changed the channel. I dont like minivans, unnessary unless you have 3 or more kids.. NOT 1!

I liked it – it has the polar opposites that we see around us, and don’t know how to be quite so involved as we perceive those perfect insanely child obsessed moms or so detached as the blonde shot-buddy who is sad to be losing another friend to parenthood. And I related to the one who just got pregnant and is adjusting – and I think that does mean waffling around in extremes until you can find the right path for yourself. She wants her mini, but she also wants to do what is right as a mom. It may not actually involve a minivan, but the mini won’t hold up with strollers and carpools and other needs of parents (even when they have one kid).
I did think it was a little flat, and still finding itself and how it could gel and work out the singleminded baby focus, but it seems to have potential…

I am pregnant with my third (I am 25, married for four years and a stay at home mom) and laughed out loud quite a few times! Alot of it was really real…exagerated, but real! FYI…I do not have a picture of my belly hanging on the wall!
