Nicole Richie is set to launch her own perfume.
The 25-year-old star revealed she has a number of exciting projects in the pipeline for when she finishes filming her reality show ‘The Simple Life’, including releasing a signature scent.
She told Britain’s OK! magazine: “I’m working on another book, plus I’m launching a jewellery and accessories line, a sunglasses line and my own perfume.”
Nicole - who has been at the centre of eating disorder rumours - is also looking forward to a well-earned break after a stressful few months.
She added: “I think I’m going to do some travelling. Summer is my favourite time of year, so hopefully I’ll also find time to just relax by the beach.
Last year, celebrity fragrances accounted for 23 per cent of the top 100 women’s fragrances in the US.
Nicole’s friend Paris Hilton is among a host of stars, including Sarah Jessica Parker, Victoria Beckham, Britney Spears and Kylie Minogue, who have already released their own signature scent.
Elizabeth Taylor was one of the first stars to launch her own perfume which has seen more than one billion sales since it hit shops 15 years ago.

The only thing one needs to know about “celebrity” perfume is that it is mass produced for a mass market, and as such is cheap,smells shite and is junk.They all smell horrible one way and another.
The only decent perfumes are going to cost you a good few quid.You get what you pay for.Kylie’s is like suffocating on cloying overpowering sweetness -a bit like car air freshner.The rest are jsut as bad and news ones will be just as bad .It is a money making racket to sell junk in vast quantities to the ignorant.

Why is she making another book!!@#! Who will read that crap. She’s retarded and is no use to society! She and the other skanks need to go to school and get a frickin education.
