Joe Simpson insults Britney Spears
Joe Simpson has reportedly taken a swipe at Britney Spears and her recent troubles by saying: “I would never let that happen to my daughters. Hopefully, her family will take care of the situation. But while Joe probably voiced what many parents are probably thinking, he’s “embarrassing his daughters” by “talking about Britney,” one source close to the family says. “Joe has always viewed Britney as direct competition to Jessica and Ashlee in the music department, and now that Britney is going through hard times, it’s a little bit like kicking her while she’s down.” A source close to Brit says: “Everyone from Britney’s family down to her record label is fuming.”

Fuck Papa Joe. His daughter’s careers combined will NEVER amount to what Britney’s once was. Althought she’s goin through some tought times, she’ll always be known as one of the best female performers

I agree with LEE. While Joe, being every bit the stage parent as Lynn Spears, probably shouldn’t have said what he did, I think he’s right. Britney’s parents should have told her long ago, enough is enough! If they did and Britney wouldn’t take the advice, so be it;let her suffer the consequences. Besides, nobody can convince me that this whole charade isn’t anything but damage control. Britney will certainly need the defense when her boys are old enough to learn about their mother’s escapades.
