Madonna has released an exclusive statement to People, denying that she is divorcing Guy Ritchie or having an affair with Yankee star Alex Rodriguez.

In it, she says: “My husband and I are not planning on getting a divorce. I know Alex Rodriguez through Guy Oseary, who manages both of us. I brought my kids to a Yankee game. I am not romantically involved in any way with Alex Rodriguez. I have nothing to do with the state of his marriage or what spiritual path he may choose to study.”

Alex Rodriguez’s wife Cynthia blamed the rumored affair for the demise of her marriage to the slugger, sources say.

Amid growing buzz of divorce, the singer’s rep had earlier issued a denial that the singer and her husband of over seven years, Guy Ritchie, were splitting.

The singer, who is no stranger to rumors, also says: “I have learned over the years not to take accusations and the many false reports about me very seriously. I also appreciate how fiction and fact seem to be perceived as one and the same by people who read both newspapers and the internet.”

These days when he isn’t rocking out with Fall Out Boy, Pete Wentz can often be found speaking to his unborn child or reading books about fatherhood.

“I talk to it all the time,” he told People Saturday at the Ultimate Fighting Championship 86 afterparty in Las Vegas. “The Expectant Father tells you that the woman, when she speaks, the baby hears her all the time. And the father’s voice isn’t familiar unless you talk to it, so I talk to it all the time.”

Armin Brott’s parenthood tome is just one of the books the bassist is reading to prepare himself for his and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz’s first child together.

“It tells you your partner’s moods month-by-month and week-by-week,” says Wentz, who is also getting advice from both his father and Joe Simpson. “It tells you why you’re feeling the way you are, how you can feel more involved in the pregnancy.”

And while Ashlee often has cravings for ice cream, pickles and green olives, everything is “going well,” says Wentz, who performed a two-hour DJ set at the House of Blues following the UFC match.

In fact, he is already hinting at more children in the future: “This is the first one so we’ll have to base the next one on how we do on the first one.”

Brad Pitt has turned to his The Mexican co-star Julia Roberts for advice on raising twins.

The movie hunk is set to become a father again when partner Angelina Jolie delivers twins in France, and reports suggest he has reached out to the Pretty Woman star for some expert advice.

A source tells America’s the Globe, “Brad was all frantic about knowing if the rules for twins are different than raising or taking care of single babies. But Julia told him it’s the same - only twice as hard.”

Jolie checked into a Nice, France hospital on Monday where she will remain until she gives birth. Roberts gave birth to her twins, Phinnaeus and Hazel, three years ago.

Bosses on Rachael Ray’s show are facing legal action from a former employee - who claims he was forced out of his job because he suffered from an eating disorder.

Aaron Ferguson - who suffers from anorexia - has filed papers at Manhattan’s Supreme Court accusing bosses on Ray’s self-titled show of exhibiting “hostile behavior” and making “vile” comments about him.

Ferguson started working for the CBS production company in July 2007 and claims he was forced to quit because of his supervisors’ behavior.

His lawyer, William H. Kaiser, says, “The things that were said in front of my client were hurtful, and once they knew he had a problem with it they should have stopped.”

Three employees of the Rachael Ray show have been named in the suit, although the star herself is not stated as a defendant.

Katie Holmes’ Broadway debut has reportedly been thrown into jeopardy because advance tickets for the show are failing to sell.

Tom Cruise’s wife recently confirmed she has signed up to star in Arthur Miller’s All My Sons in New York, which opens this autumn.

But the play is already being dogged by rumors of slow ticket sales, with vendors reportedly complaining that theatre-goers are showing little interest in the production.

A seller tells British newspaper the Metro, “I bought 1,000 tickets to the show… I still have them.”

Holmes is rumored to have picked up a $1 million fee for her run in the show, which will preview on 18 September.

David Beckham once suspected R&B producer Damon Dash was having an affair with his wife Victoria - because the pair spent so much time together.

Dash was hired to work on Victoria’s second post-Spice Girls solo album in 2002 and the two often worked long hours at the studio while they recorded the hip hop inspired LP.

And the music mogul insists that Victoria’s husband David was jealous of their close relationship - and even suspected them of having an affair.

He says, “I wouldn’t blame David if he was jealous. It’s understandable. I was hanging out with his beautiful wife all the time. I think he thought there was something going on between us. I know they had a conversation about it. But everyone knew we were just friends. But who can blame him? I’m a fly guy.”

Mark Ronson is facing prosecution after he was caught smoking onstage at a gig last weekend.

The Grammy-winner was performing at Britain’s Wakestock Festival in the grounds of Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire, England on Saturday night but he broke the U.K.’s strict no smoking laws by sparking a cigarette up during the concert.

And now West Oxfordshire District have confirmed they have launched an investigation into the allegations and will be examining photo evidence of the gig.

A council spokeswoman tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, “Our environmental health department will be investigating it and meeting with organisers and reviewing what went on. We can’t say now whether we’re prosecuting him (Ronson) or not.”

If he is prosecuted over the offence, Ronson will receive a minor $100 penalty but the event’s organiser will be fined $5,000.
