I saw it last night on TV and didn’t even recognize it to be her. Must be that she looked kind of happy and not depressing like I normally see her looking.

the guy is patrick wilson, probably best known as raoul in the recent phantom of the opera movie. and i LOVE this add. its so cute.

Don’t be such a hater…so her feel sickle a little bit…she’s still pretty good for just reprising her dance skills after like 10 years! Go Claire…and that other dude…whoever he is.

your a fool if this commercial doesnt make you instantly feel good…i mean who cares if she can’t dance…it just makes you smile…and lonely for a guy that looks like that…:)

I think the commercial was adorable. Claire Danes is a beautiful girl and very talented, you can’t take anything away from her, she has it all! Stop the hating, how many of you would feel comfortable and confident enough to dance around in your underwear? Whatever her feet are or aren’t, she did an excellent job. Patrick is a cute addition to the commercial as well!

My children sing it when it comes on and Claire Danes is perfect. I hope they hire her to do another one. Sarah Jessica Parker had a bunch and they were not near as cute as Claire’s.

She’s got lovely legs and pretty feet, and I’m not into feet. She’s a pretty girl obviously having a good time, so if her feet sickle a bit too bad.

No I don’t think this add is cute because she can’t dance. If she could dance I would love it.She looks really awkward. I find it annoying because he is a better dancer. “I can do anything better than you” and she can’t. There are plenty of cute girls that can dance. Then when they said “I can do anything better than you” It would be YES you can. Turn you volume off and watch it and wince.

it’s a great commercial. for those so-called “classically trained” dancers that are hating on it, you’re all just jealous. really. yes, you are all much better dancers and you don’t have sickle feet, blah blah blah. claire danes supposedly can’t dance, but look who’s starring in a gap ad…
you dancers out there make up like .oooooo1% of the population. that commercial isn’t for you. it’s for those who wanna see some pretty people dancing about, wanna buy some khakis, and just want to smile. it works.
sorta like when real cops watch law & order or csi.
anyway enough ranting

Surprised no one at least googled this, but Claire Danes has a dance background and IS a professional interpretive dancer who had two major performances over the last year in NYC that were received satisfactorily. Cute ad for a bad GAP product.
