LOST: “Tricia Tanaka is Dead”

I’m a HUGE fan of LOST. HUGE. I have watched every SINGLE episode since it began, and have even read up on all the LOST fansites. As long as LOST is on TV, I will watch it. Hey – I watched every single episode of Alias, even when it REALLY SUCKED (anyone remember the zombie episode?).

LOST totally dissappointed me last night. It was the most BORING, HUGEST waste of a LOST episode I’ve seen yet. In case you don’t remember – the preview they showed last week for “Tricia Tanaka is Dead” said “If you don’t watch – you won’t know what everyone is talking about the next day.” Want to know what I’m talking about today? How much last night’s episode of LOST sucked!
What was the huge suprise? That Alex is really Rousseau’s daughter? Huge shock! We already figured that out ages ago! Are you freakin serious?

Did we learn anything new last night? Yeah, Hurley wasn’t always fat. Woop-de-doo. Did the flashbacks give us any new information? NO! Seriously – what was the point of that episode?
I’m pissed…because ABC totally misled all of us LOST fans with the line “If you don’t watch – you won’t know what everyone is talking about the next day.” HEEELLLOOO… we’re not total doorknobs! Of course we knew Alex was Rousseau’s daughter.
LOST was so boring last night…I actually fell asleep. Enough with the bloody van already.
What did you think?

I dunno i have to disagree. I liked last nights LOST, I thouhgt it was nice to watch and not be nervous and excited the whole time. As good as the exciting episodes are i think it’s nice to just have a kinda cute one.

I too thought last night was horrible. It seemed like a filler episode, like they needed more time to come up with another storyline. Everything about it was boring…no new answers, no new quesitons..it sucked.

I totally agree with you. I’m also a HUGE Lost fan and I couldn’t help but be utterly disappointed. I kept waiting and waiting for that new or shocking piece of info that ABC teased us about previously and NOTHING happened. I am however, looking forward to next week’s episode, it’s about time they wander further on the island. Is it just me, or was anyone else annoyed with the fact that they found a road map in that VW van and threw it aside so fast. Why aren’t these people asking questions and eager to find out what’s going on? I mean for goodness sakes, NO ONE from the survivors camp besides Jin wanted to go with Hurley to investigate that van?! The reactions of these people are so unrealistic and when they do ask questions, they stop short of getting to any real answer. Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the flashbacks to get to know the characters but I feel like this season has been slow enough as it is – but they need to get on with it, PLEASE TELL US SOMETHING already!!!

^ That map was the only interesting part of last night’s episode. And LOST did was LOST does. They tease us with a little tidbit of info. That map will come back – be sure of that… it will be something big soon…they were just teasing us last night.
And I agree with the previous poster (whatever your name is, Lisa, Lesh, Alicia) that it did seem like a filler episode. Like they were just throwing it in there to take up time…

I agree it was a bit boring, but Sawyer’s lines had me laughing! “International house of pancakes”, “skeletor” lol!!

I thought it was a fun to watch episode but boring compared to the episodes lately. I was also ticked they didnt go through all the papers in the van couldnt that hold important info and the map? It defintely was not the episdoe they cracked it up to be.

I was a rabid Lost fan; even used to post funny re-caps to my blog. But about 4 eps ago, I finally gave up. This show is nothing like it started out. Every episode is just jam packed with “flashbacks” and we hardly get to see the characters progress in real time anymore.

All I know is that van better turn out to be some mystical flying machine that will get them back home, or else last night was a total waste of airtime.

I liked last nights episode. The jack flash back gave us nothing either that was a filler wow the whole epi was him and the meaning of his tats. Im getting tired of jacks flashbacks those are boring. This episode was light and I’m glad it was it was an episode full of hope. I guess you guys don’t read into it too much and take it with a grain of salt. HUrley can’t be touched he was never supposed to be there and he really isn’t cursed everyone around him is hurt but he isn’t he’s the purest of them all. Anywho I liked it and ya knwo wha tget ready for some more filler episodes.

oh and the producers already said that abc needs to stop hyping it up because it’s making them look bad. lost ratings have been dropping partially because of the misleading promos that abc so wants to put up. You can’t trust the promos I figured that out a long time ago…

Hi I liked lost, for once we saw joy from the castaways! Lighten up. Darma Geek!

I think you need to lighten up a smidge. It was a fun, laid-back episode – just like Hurley is. Sure, ABC might lamely advertised that there are some huge, dark secrets coming out, but the episode rocked, no questions asked.
