Chris Evan wants to make one thing clear…
He does NOT want to be like Tom Cruise.
The star, 25, is reported as saying “I would love to be Tom Cruise” on his profile on movie website imdb.com – but Evans has no recollection of ever saying any such thing.
He tells British film magazine Empire, “I don’t know who took that quote, I don’t know where I said it, but every f**king time someone interviews me… I have never wanted that. He’s wonderful, he’s a great actor and I’d love to have his success, but as far as emulating who he is in the public eye, I don’t think I want that type of career.”
Well, that’s a nice way to put it, Chris.
