OSCARS!!!
Okay, well - the Oscars were as boring as HELL last night. They were REALLY LONG…and INSANELY boring. (I swear it took 3 hours just to get to the good awards). BUT with that said, I think Ellen Degeneres did amazing. She was great! My favorite part of the night was the song by Will Ferrell and Jack Black…that was great. Everything else - pretty much a snooze fest.

I disagree! (not about Ellen) I was thoroughly entertained. I liked the way the presented various awards — showing alt camera angles for nominees for editing oscar and showing actual costumes on stage for the best costume design. I also appreciated the acceptance speeches in diff. langueges. What more did you want?

I thought the show was ok for an award show most of them are so long no matter what they do they get a little boring. But I have to say I would never be able to watch a whole show without DVR.

They could have cut so much time off the show if they eliminated those video montages. Seriously, they were so unnecesary and boring. How long was that one on the writing- showing typewriters…people typing.. scripts… ZZZZzzzzz. The only one that was remotely interestuing was the one for sound where they had the chorus of people providing the sound for the videos being shown.

It was so sleepy xD But I’m very happy that Potc won the Best Visual Effects, and Marie-Antoinette the Best Costume Design. I liked those movies so much !
