This year the BEST DRESSED will outweigh the worst dressed…I thought for the MOST part, everyone looked great! There was your occasional disaster (Meryl Streep), though.

Cate Blanchett gets it right every. single. time. Gorgeous. Loved Reece, too, EAT YOUR HEART OUT, RYAN!! But JLo - something was wrong with her face. Not digging the dark lip liner & gloss look. *shudder* And fortheloveofPete, SOMEONE PLEASE CUT GWYNETH’S HAIR it’s outta control!

My favorite by far was Cate Blanchett. Loved her! Everybody seems to like Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lopez & Kirsten Dunst…but they just didn’t work for me.

Cate Blanchett was by far the best dress of the night! But I have to say Joc I really thought the opposite…that there were LOTS of bad dresses last night. Reese, maggie, helen mirren, rachel weisz (without the necklace)…those were the only other good ones I thought. Although, I loved the show! One of the best. Definitely worth staying up until 12:30 am.

I really like Reese, Cate, Nicole, Portia, Celine Dion, and Mark Wahlberg’s wife dresses. Wasn’t crazy about Jessica Biel’s dress, didn’t like the color, Cameron’s dress wasn’t great, JLo’s dress had too many jewels on it. That’s my opinion. Gwenyth’s dress was different, I think she pulled it off.

Cameron Diaz looks like she’s trying to recycle that wedding dress she bought before she broke up with Justin. No wonder he ran for his life!
Gwynnie’s dress is a disaster: color is unflattering, overly complicated pleating combined with sheer top makes her look messy. Her style should always be very Calvin/Lauren, minimal & sophisticated NOT fussy.
The only thing that saves Jessica Biel’s dress is the body under it; you need sunglasses to save your retinas from the color~

In regards to Elisabeth Shue… her husband is DAVIS GUGGENHEIM and he’s the executive producer of an Inconvenient Truth… it won an Oscar. I guess that’s why she was there.

Am I the only one who thinks Reese Witherspoon’s lip color was a bit too pale compared to her eye makeup? Her eyes were a bit too smoky whick gave her a sort of sickly pallor/look. Other than that, I loved her hair, hair color and dress.
