Britney Spears’s Dad Calls Her ‘A Sick Little Girl’
With Britney Spears back in rehab at Promises treatment facility in Malibu, her family is still concerned about her well-being.
Her father, Jamie Spears, 54, told FOX News from his home in Louisiana on Thursday that Spears is “a sick little girl. … We’re just trying to take care of her.”
He added that his daughter’s problems are “not about what other people think” and that he and Spears’s mom, Lynne, are “concerned about our daughter.”
Meanwhile, Spears’s estranged husband, Kevin Federline, is also anxious about his wife’s condition – and about the couple’s two sons.
“Britney scared everyone pretty bad. Kevin is worried that’s for sure,” a source close to Federline tells PEOPLE. “Kevin just wants her to be OK. He loves her, so however she can get better is just what we’ll have to accept. [They] will make it work with the kids – it’s all still for them.”
One person, who also agrees that Federline has Spears’s best interests at heart is her childhood friend and first husband, Jason Alexander, whom the pop star wed in Las Vegas in 2004 (their marriage was annulled 55 hours later).
Federline is “a good dude,” Alexander, 25, told PEOPLE on Tuesday, the day before Spears checked out of the Promises rehab center after a one-day stay. “I know he takes care of those kids.”
Alexander, who in November called Federline “an idiot,” now thinks Spears’s estranged husband “just got caught up and manipulated,” he says. “Maybe getting Kevin out of her life wasn’t the best thing for her.”

you i’m actually starting to like the bald look, she has a nice shaped head!!!! plus without all those nasty extensions she looks really clean!!!!
on another note, i wish britney and her family the best of luck, i had a sister who went down a very (and much worse than britney) distructive path and thanks to our loving mother, she is now doing a 100% better. its really sad reading comments from people who say things like “we should wash our hands of this slut” or “god i wish she would just O.D” because in times like these is when they need the support the most, i feel sorry for any loved ones of those type of people who will ever need them during a horrible chapter in their lives since they are just going to “wash their hands of them.”

She is not a “little girl” she is a woman with 2 kids. Her family just perpetuates and enables her spoiled, irresponsible and drug induced behavior.

i think she should go somewhere far from the limelight and get things figured out and detox herself. i can’t even begin to imagine how hard her life is. i feel for her, even though she’s done stupid things, i feel for her.

I know I may be small to you but I have huge listening skills. Please teach her to be humble again. Please teach her it is okay to be a mom with issues. Plese teach her and give her information. I wish I could help. I too am a woman of two children and I went down this path of hers years ago. I will pray for strength and peace.
