KFed & Britney’s mom have been taking care of the boys…
Us Magazinehas learned that as Britney Spears continues to unravel in public, Kevin Federline has been working behind the scenes to take custody of their children away from the erratic pop star.
A source tells Us that Federline, 28, and his mother, along with the help of Spears’ mother Lynne, have joined forces to aid Federline while he has cared for his sons — Sean Preston, 17 months, and Jayden James, 5 months — during their mother’s recent rehab stints, partying and hotel stays.
“He is beyond sad,” says a Federline pal. “This is the worst week of his entire life. He doesn’t even want to pick up the phone. Things are beyond not well with Britney, and he still loves her.”
Federline reportedly is now taking legal steps to protect his children. TMZ is reporting that Federline has requested an emergency custody hearing Thursday before an L.A. judge (Spears had been granted physical custody of the kids at an earlier hearing). Federline’s rep couldn’t be reached for comment, but Us has confirmed that a custody hearing has been set for Thursday.
According to our Federline insider, K-Fed made a call to his mother, Julie Bleak, on Valentine’s Day asking for her to help him take care of the children. Bleak flew to L.A. on Feb. 15 (the same day Spears, 25, checked into the Crossroads Centre rehab facility in Antigua). Our source adds that Lynne Spears has also been present for her grandchildren, taking care of the children round-the-clock with Federline.
“Britney’s family feels that Kevin has been a blessing and they are very impressed with Kevin taking so much responsibility,” says a Spears family source. “Britney’s family found out from the news this morning that Britney had left the rehab. Britney has not asked to see the kids because she knows she is not well and she does not want to scare Preston. She has no credit cards or cash. She is basically on the run at the moment.”

Britney’s Mom and Ex to the rescue? Let’s see how long the little chicklings hibernate before the famous hatching. I swear I don’t see a love bone in any body of this situation. Both Mom and Ex tend to cash in as long as the cash flows.. Brit…bless her heart, not famous for her singing but just for being famous, she is our next Anna. She is young enough, she can turn it around, look at Madonna, or even Angelina Jolie from duh….to saint. Don’t give up Brit….

Are you f-ing kidding me. Federline’s a great dad? He cheated on his PREGNANT girlfriend then left her for Spears and he’s a great dad… Thoughts like that make me sick. It’s disguting. Britney was the other woman. She stole a pregnant woman’s man. If she were anyone else, she’d be on the Jerry Springer Show. Thank God I didn’t have a dad like Federline, who chooses which children are more important. Ask yourself, “which mother of his offspring will net him the most child support?” I guarantee he’s asked himself that question.
Hopefully, deep down, it’s not about the money, but that’s not something I’d bet on.
On a lighter note however, the Superbowl commercial with Frederline was the highlight of the game.

Sounds like a charming manipulator who thinks the number of seeds he plants makes him a “man”, eventhough he’s a cheating loser.
Sorry, gals who fall into the trap of these truly demented guys. These women always get scewed-over in the end and are left with babies, a worn-out body and depression.

Let the parents take over (NOT K-Whoever). They’ve been down this road and raised their kids. They are experienced Take a rest. Learn who you are inside. Keep kissing your kids while you deal with your pain.
I know. I’ve been where you are right now. It’s a crazy place. My son is 11 now and we are best friends and he’s a wonderful little guy. We are together, strong and a true family.
However, you can’t be a family till you deal with the [ain this man has put you through.
Life isn’t about labling yourself a failure and giving up. Life is about understand obstacles, and sometimes digging yourself out of ditches and brushing yourself off and remembering to see the sunrise.
You’re not lost, you’re just finding yourself.

Federline has been a blessing? Um, they are his kids. He SHOULD be taking care of them, plus the additional two from his previous girlfriend.

I think Kfed is behind the smear campaign of Britney. He doesn’t care about the kids, he cares about the money.
