BREAKING NEWS: BRITNEY LEAVES REHAB AGAIN!

It’s being reported pretty much everywhere that Britney has checked out of “Promises” Rehab Facility after only 24 hours. She checked in yesterday, and checked out after only hours. Apparently Britney can’t deal with rehab. One source says that on her way from the rehab center – Britney visited a tattoo parlor, only to find it was closed.
What is going on with that girl!
OTHER BRITNEY NEWS: TMZ has learned that the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) has received numerous phone calls to their hotline … about Britney Spears!
Sources tell TMZ that the Child Protection hotline received calls on Brit’s kids and her recent bizarre behavior. The DCFS provides a 24/7 phone number that any resident in the Los Angeles area can use to report or discuss any issue regarding children.
Britney Spears entered a rehab facility earlier this week, and as TMZ first reported, she checked out and flew back and shaved her head. Then she checked into a second facility, Promises in Malibu, on Tuesday … and out on Wednesday!

as much as i don’t condone her behavior, you know a majority of those calls are coming from people like us who have “no life” and make assumptions from what we are fed by the media!!!! i mean we, the public, have no clue what goes on behind closed doors, she could be a fantastic mom to those boys!!!!!

i know that by even visiting this blog i am contributing to this warped, voyeuristic, celeb obsession that I actually truly detest, and commenting furthers this way of being, but I am really sick of the way the media focuses on Spears and the little rush everyone gets when they can feel better then a celebrity. I don’t actually think she is that messed up, shes just average “white trash.” Her mistakes are just magnified because of her celebrity obviously.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve never liked Spears or what she represented, but at least now she seems to be centered on whats stirring within her and not on public opinion…although both are probably equally damaging.
And I am sick sick sick of the way people vilify her as a mother, like shes some horrible abusive, neglecting person….contiuing this myth of motherhood. That you must be the sacred virgin, all loving, all caring, all wonderful saint if you have children. Guess what! People are not saints, women are not saints, mothers are not saints. Because your body produces a thing does not make you a saint. Men certainly don’t have this pressure and obligation. Why, for every britney like mother out there, there are ten thousand fathers who are ten times worse then she is! And it makes me so fucking sick that everyone was so horrified when she almost dropped her baby. Everyone shut the fuck up!!! Trust me, I don’t feel sorry for celebritys, I can’t even empathize with them most of the time, nor do i want to, but the way the public thinks about Britney is a symptom of a much deeper social stigma.
Dare I stoop so low as to make a psychological assessment of a person that embodys a symbol, and validate this seemingly benign escapist entertainment by even talking about it. Clearly I feel guilty. But I must say, that Britney has probably reached the pinnacle of success in some ways and so she turned to that other promise, after she was satiated by the dizzying rush of the American Dream and the fawning adoration of its witnesses, she turned to that old fashioned curse of the promise of motherhood. That marriage and children would fill that void. Well, clearly it didn’t. So she parties excessively, eats excessively, shaves her head, tries rehab (clearly by external pressure).
Is she so bad? Isn’t this what a lot of people go through?
Ok, I will really stop because I am embarrasssed that I spent this much time on Spears or anyone that I don’t know.
