I’m so confused… Is this prune Dannielynn’s daddy?
The husband of actress Zsa Zsa Gabor says he had a decade-long affair with Anna Nicole Smith and might be her infant daughter’s father.
The claim by Prince Frederick von Anhalt comes amid a paternity suit over Smith’s five-month-old daughter, Dannielynn. The birth certificate lists Dannielynn’s father as lawyer Howard K. Stern, but former Smith boyfriend Larry Birkhead is waging a legal challenge, saying he is the father.
“If you go back from September, she wasn’t with one of those guys, she was with me,” von Anhalt told Associated Press in an interview yesterday.
He said he would file a lawsuit if Dannielynn was turned over to Stern or Birkhead.
The claim follows news that a judge in California has ordered that Smith’s body be preserved until a February 20 hearing in the paternity case over her baby.
The ruling was issued as a Florida medical examiner failed to establish a conclusive cause of death.

“I cannot make a determination because there are a number of possibilities,” Dr Joshua Perper told reporters in Fort Lauderdale, a day after Smith was found unconscious in her Florida hotel room.
The autopsy “was able to exclude any type of physical injury” and also showed there was no sign of any pills found in the stomach of the former Playboy centrefold, he said.
Von Anhalt said he first met Smith in the 1990s when she was still married to elderly oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall II. He said Smith approached him and Gabor at the Plaza Hotel in New York.
Von Anhalt, 59, and Gabor, 90, have been married for more than 20 years. He is her eighth husband. “[Smith] was a very big fan of Zsa Zsa and wanted to be like Zsa Zsa,” he said. “She wanted to be a princess.”
He said the two started an affair soon after, meeting over the years in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York. For much of that time, he said, Smith urged him to make her a princess like his wife.
But short of divorcing Gabor, he said the only solution would have been adopting Smith. Von Anhalt said he did consider that and even filled out adoption papers, but Gabor refused to sign them.
Edward Lozzi, who worked as Gabor’s publicist during her celebrated “cop-slapping trial” in 1989, said he doubted von Anhalt’s claim, calling him a “chronic fabricator”.
“There are some people who are married to famous people and take advantage of it,” said Lozzi, who added that he himself dated Smith three times. He said he last spoke to her sometime during the past year.
Von Anhalt expressed some regret about the affair, saying: “Men do things we shouldn’t do.
“She was a very sexy woman,” he added. “To have an affair with her is the top, you know.”
Von Anhalt and Gabor were married in 1986. Some records list him as her ninth husband but one of those marriages was annulled.

That jerk will be wasting his time filing a suit if the baby gets turned over to one of the other guys, because a DNA test will have been performed by then, Hello! I mean the baby will only get turned over to her biological dad! what an idiot! Yeah, he mentions this til after her death. Where is the proof of them even being in a relationship?

Hopefully in the end they will do all the necessary DNA tests. I feel that the baby should be with her real daddy. But what if by some awful circumstance, the old prune IS her father? I’d rather see Dannielynn end up with Birkhead, who seems like the only stable person here!
