So I told you guys a couple weeks ago that I have a family member that’s dying.  Well – to make a long story short, she only has about 48 hours to live.  I’ve been up at the hospital all afternoon…I’ll be out the rest of the night.

I’ll make it up to you guys this weekend!

UPDATE: Well, it’s Sunday morning, and my grandma is still alive.  I’ve been in and out of the hospital all weekend…and she’s really hanging in there.  They have her on a morphine drip to basically keep her comfortable, but she should pass anytime now.  I really appreciate all of your comments, wow…you guys have left some sweet messages.  I do believe in the power of prayer, and I apprciate all the prayers you’ve sent my way.  I’ll keep you guys posted, just wanted to say thanks…I read every single comment.

2ND UPDATE:  Well, my grandma passed today around noon.  I wasn’t at the hospital when it happened (which I’m thankful for)…but my mom and dad were both there (which I’m VERY thankful for).  She opened her eyes, and just very peacefully passed.  I know that she’s in a better place now…but that never makes it easy.  Of course I’d rather have her here with me.

3RD UPDATE: Well, I thought about taking this morning off from posting…but I think now that it might be a nice distraction.  I’m getting alot better…and I think that posting about meaningless gossip might actually make me feel better.  I’m not promising any good gossip/dirt…but I’ll try to get SOME posting done.
