…and it S-U-C-K-E-D!!!  Like really REALLY bad.  And I was so disappointed.  I thought it might be good – with that cast.  But it was really bad. Hilary Swank was totally miscast – she was totally unbelievable.  The movie was just total crap.  It now tops my list of worst movies for 2006.  Right next to Miami Vice.  Don’t EVEN get me started on that one!

John Mayer usually says “no” to requests to parody his music, but when “The Office” came calling this Christmas, the singer had a change of heart. The show wanted to use his sentimental tune “Your Body is a Wonderland” for an office holiday party scene. On his blog, Mayer explains, “I initially turned the request down, but after thinking about it, and hearing the details on the incredibly funny sounding scene… I decided to go for it.”

“I’m not making apologies for my work,” Mayer writes, “but it’s safe to say I don’t get asked to use ‘Wonderland’ for strongman competitions and documentaries about aircraft carriers. I get asked so that people can goof on it.” Indeed, Steve Carrell’s character Michael Scott butchers the tune during a karaoke session. Sounds harsh, but luckily Mayer’s sense of humor got the better of him. He calls the series “one of my favorite shows on television.”

Ewan McGregor loves stripping off on film, and considers it a gift for his female fans. The Scottish star has appeared naked In Trainspotting, Velvet Goldmine and Young Adam – and promises he’ll peel off again. He told a US talk show, “I love it. I’ve been naked in quite a few films. It’s for the sisters.”
