So I watched the Black Dahlia last night…
…and it S-U-C-K-E-D!!! Like really REALLY bad. And I was so disappointed. I thought it might be good – with that cast. But it was really bad. Hilary Swank was totally miscast – she was totally unbelievable. The movie was just total crap. It now tops my list of worst movies for 2006. Right next to Miami Vice. Don’t EVEN get me started on that one!

I haven’t seen it. I’m curious – what part did Hilary have? Was her acting bad? Josh Hartnett looks miscast in the movie poster.

I read the book. The book was better than the movie, but it was still really depressing.

i TOTALLY agree, complete waste of time and money. they didn’t even hardly talk about the ‘black dahlia’ murder investigation and that’s what i was most interested in.

I am glad to see I was not the only one that HATED this movie. I was excited to see it as I was interested in the story behind it all. What a disappointment! Scarlett was annoying and it was too hard to follow!

I totally agree Jeeel – I thought the movie might actually be about the Black Dahlia murder – but NO!! Who even knows what the movie really WAS about, it was too dang hard to follow!! The twists that were supposed to be “shocking” at the end were just so lame – I didn’t even care anymore. I can’t believe that Hilary did that movie. I mean – I totally get why Josh and Scarlett did it…but Hilary??
Grr…I’m still steamin over it!
