Donald Trump: Barbara Should Fire Rosie
The feud between Rosie O’Donnell and Donald Trump is not over yet. The Apprentice creator tells Us Weekly that he thinks O’Donnell should be relieved of her duties as cohost of The View after openly criticizing the real estate mogul on Wednesday’s broadcast.
When Us asked Trump if he thinks that Barbara Walters, a co-executive producer on the show, should fire the comedian, he responded, “Yes. I think she’s terrible for the show and I think she sets a terrible example and tone.”
He also tells Us that he plans to boycott the ABC morning chat show.
“I never anticipate going on The View again,” he says. “The show has done very poorly in the ratings and ratings are only up now because of people like Donald Trump.”
On Wednesday’s show, O’Donnell, 44, openly criticized Trump, calling him a “snake-oil salesman” who allegedly used his father’s inheritance to dig himself out of bankruptcy.
She also chastised Trump for a press conference he held Tuesday in which he announced that he was giving Miss USA Tara Conner “a second chance” after it came to light that she was drinking while underage in NYC bars (she turned 21 on Monday).
“He’s the moral authority?” O’Donnell scoffed. “(He) left the first wife, had an affair, left the second wife, had an affair. Had kids both times, but he’s the moral compass for 20-year-olds in America.”
Trump announced on Wednesday that he plans to sue O’Donnell for “a number of reasons.” He added: “She doesn’t tell the facts.”
Barbara Walters, who is out of the country, but who has been fully informed of what is going on said:
“Donald Trump is a personal friend of mine and has been a good friend to The View for many years. I’m sorry there is friction between Donald and Rosie. That said, I do not regret for one moment my choice to hire Rosie O’Donnell as the moderator of The View. I certainly hope and expect that this tempest will pass quickly.”
What’s your take on all this? I personally – think that Rosie should be able to say whatever she wants, it’s just her opinion…

i think more people will relate to Rosie and her opinions about Donald Trump. She speaks her mind and says what everyone else is probably thinking. I don’t think very highly of Donald Trump at all. He is a sleaze and a womanizer and is very vain both qualities I find very unattractive. He is just as disgusting looking as Rosie if not worse atleast Rosie has a sense of humor and can make people laugh. DT thinks that because he is so rich it autamatically gives him authority to put people that are not as successful as him down and amke them look like scum even when they are not. Rosie is a very giving and compassionate person and he is not. He can’t even change his own son’s diapers I mean come on..d

The donald is a blowhard with the worst excuse for a hair piece ever. He needs to realize, or maybe he does, this is just publicity for publicity sake. He pulled the same thing with Martha a year ago. He obviously cannot take the heat of a strong woman. He fears them. I wish every media outlest would spin it that way and then the world would know how afraid he is of strong women and how much he wishes his manhood was larger. Oh no, is he gonna sue me too?!

I absolutley love Rosie and what she has to say. She honest, caring towards people and children a great parent etc….She’s the best ever. I swear I nearly fell off my chair yesterday while watching her on The View imitating Donald. Pulling her hair over the side and speaking like Donlad was pricless. I never laughed so hard. She’s a riot and I hope she stays on the View forever. I even saw Elizabeth crack up laughing really hard which I don’t even remember ever seeing her do on the show since she started. The audience literally was roaring too.
For him to also call Rosie all those names was appauling. He needs to grow the hell up and be a man for once in his life. Shame on you Donald for using those choice of words. You sound like a kindergartner. You may be worth billions but your words aren’t worth 2 cents.

If Donald Trump wants to give the kid a second chance he should be able to. There is nothing wrong with that… As far as second chances… isn’t that what the twit on the view Elizabeth is getting by being on that show… She was a loser, (still is in my opinion), and she is getting a second chance (too long a chance, NOBODY likes her)by being on The View…
Personally, I don’t like the show. Hearing 4 or 5 cackling women that early in the morning, ruins my whole demeanor for the day. Rosie does not add anything to the show… In my opinion

i personally am really tired of hearing all the things either one of them has to say. every day, i have to hear about something new that is offensive or crazy that rosie has said on The View, and then all of the things that donald trump is saying about rosie in this situation is ridiculous. they’re acting like a bunch of babies. grow up and act like you’re an adult.

I think Rosie is what the Veiw needed. I think the Donald can’t take it when someone stronger says anything about him. And coming from a WOMEN really got him upset. This is The good OL U.S.A where we can say what we think. Roseie was just saying her thoughts on the whole thing. I have 6 Girls and I would not want someone that has the rep. of the D to be giving them adv. But I would love for Rosie to give them some on life and Mother hood. Keel up the good work Rosie.

I started my boycot of Rosie when she stated that “Christians are just as responsible for 9/11 as the Terrorists”. I am a Christain and I NEVER did anything to cause the 9/11 attack. I never had anything against her choices. But, when she starts to attack me and my beliefs, well that puts her into the Extremist catagorie. I personnally think that she has a lot of pent up anger against beautiful heterosexual women and when DT decided to give Ms USA a second chance she went into her NORMAL attack mode. This woman attacks so many people. This doesn’t have anything to do with DT as a person just his decision on giving Ms USA a second chance. Who are we to judge anyone? Who is Rosie to judge anyone? Is she that perfect that she can attack DT? She is not. There was only ONE PERFECT person in this world and HE walked on water! I think Rosie needs to stop attacking others to cover he own insecurities and she should take some time off from The View to evaluate her own inner self. I used to like her years ago but as she has gotton older she has become more spiteful and biter. I myself will NEVER watch The View or any show she is on ever. I am a DT fan either but I am not going to go out blasting him for his decision to give Ms USA another chance because really who of us when we screwed up didn’t want a second chance. And, who of us hasn’t received a second chance? C’mon people… C’mon Rosie – I know you have had several chances – look your on The View! Go home, hug your kids and be greatful for all that you have and pray for forgiveness as God is VERY forgiving – you just have to ask. He loves you! HE loves all of us!

Like much TV these days, “The View” and the so-called “news” programs that report on stupidity like the O’Donnell-Trump wars is absurd. It’s just one more example of how dumbed down this society has become. The US ranks near the bottom of developed nations in each of the following categories: (1) the percentage of eligible voters who actually vote; (2) the degree of acceptance of evolution; (3) life expectancy, despite being one of the highest spending in terms of health care. And you wonder why we are ridiculed, despised, and generally dismissed by the world community.
