Are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie having a Christmas wedding?
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are planning a fairytale Christmas wedding in South Africa.
The Hollywood couple will tie the knot in a small village outside Johannesburg, according to reports in the US.
Sources say they were persuaded to pick the venue after talking to chat show queen Oprah Winfrey.
An insider said: “They are treating their marriage like a spiritual affirmation and don’t need big Hollywood glitz like Tom Cruise had in Italy.”
The ceremony will include traditional African music and will be “simple and elegant”, a friend of the couple told US magazine OK!
The pal adds: “They are so much in love.
“Brad and Angelina have waited a long time for this chapter in their lives to unfold.”
It comes after Jolie and Winfrey have grown close after the TV host was impressed by Jolie’s humanitarian efforts.
She is said to have told her: “When you have the chance to capture lightning in a bottle you need to go for it.”
The pal said: “Ange is grateful to have a big sister in Oprah, a person who understands her fears of commitment but is also a kindred spirit.”
Winfrey, 52, is expected to be among several stars attending the low-key event, shortly before Christmas.
She founded the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls in a village south of Johannesburg.
Madonna, her husband Guy Ritchie, actor George Clooney and Jolie’s co-star Daniel Craig are also said to be going.
Jolie was previously married to actors Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton.

hmmm… did I miss the big announcement that gay couples may now be legally married. Thats what happens when all I do is go to toddler play dates and talk about Barney and the Doodlebops.(If you don’t know what a Doodlebop is you obviously do not have a toddler).

hey heather same thing with charlize shes supposedly engaged to stuart. she also made an anouncement saying that she and stuart would get married when gays could. I think they say it just to say it so they can be in with gay people. Im sorry but you dont say things like that you dont make promises when you know you cant keep them. Anyways wasnt it a couple months ago US was saying oprah would never talk to angelins cuz of the whole jen and brad thing. Hmm who knows i mean I dont even think angelina has ever been on her show. for being the ” big sister” you’d think angelina would be a guest… I don’t buy it.

HA! that’s a big fat laugh… Oprah does not acknowledge these two. Oprah is a very good friend if Jen, so what ever this duo does, I’m sure Oprah will not advertise for them.

You’re right – Oprah’s a huge hypocrite. I don’t buy what she said yesterday about supporting international adoptions no matter who does it, including Brad and Angelina. Meanwhile, Queen Oprah won’t even have them on her show to talk about such an important issue because of what they “did” to that no-talent loser Jennifer. How high-school. ‘What? Like, you broke up with Jen to get wit Angie? Ohmygod! You are SO not coming to my party now!’

Oprah announces world wide she has a “celebrity friend”, then that celebrity has to pretend their good friends. It’s bs. Oprah just interview them and stop owning them.
