I’m reading “Little Children” right now by Tom Perrotta, and I’m TOTALLY LOVING IT. It’s such a great book!! (The movie “Little Children” starring Kate Winslet is in theaters right now).
And it just made me want to ask what you guys are reading right now. Are you reading anything good? If so, please share!!

Ian Fleming’s ‘Casino Royale’. I’m surprised by how close they kept the film to the book. Good, BTW.

I’ve been reading through the Alex Cross series by James Patterson – if you enjoy murder mystery/suspense/twists, then I STRONGLY recommend these – start with the first one, Along Came a Spider, though – it’s definitely worth reading all of them, and doing it in order!

I just started “Falling Through the Earth”. It’s a memoir about growing up with an alcoholic Vietnam Vet father. It’s so good (although, I’m kind of biased because I grew up with an alcoholic Vietnam Vet father). It’s very intense, very emotional.

I am reading the latest from Charles Frazier (he wrote Cold Mountain. It’s called Thirteen Moons and I really like it. So much so that I forced myself to put it down for a week so I could think about it more before its over. I hate it when I read a really great book in two days and then it’s gone forever.

“Norwegian Wood” by Haruki Murakami.
I don’t feed into the whole “lol yay its japanese” trend, but this is an amazing book about love, health, sexuality, and growing up. Superb prose.

Tobywoo – I know the feeling exactly!! I love books that are part of a series about the same people, b/c when I finish a book I’m all into the characters and I want to read more about them!
