Courtney Love says Kurt Cobain wasn’t the love of her life.
The ‘Hole’ singer described the late Nirvana frontman - the father of her 12-year-old daughter Frances Bean, who she was married to for two years - as “the best friend I ever had” but admits he could be mistrusting and hostile.
She told POP magazine: “I think he did love me. But when you’re dealing with someone who is that brilliant but is tortured you have to put up with a lot of misanthropic s**t.”
Love - who has previous drug and drink addictions - claims her one true love was actor Ed Norton. She explained: “He’s been more of a daddy to Frances than Kurt ever was.”
The 42-year-old rocker appears in a series of raunchy semi-nude photographs in the latest edition of the magazine. However, Katie Grand, the editor-in-chief of POP, insists that is not what was initially intended. She said: “We didn’t plan the shoot to be raunchy - we wanted to put her in couture - but she’s such a big presence. In a couture dress she seemed stiff, so it ended up being quite naked.”

Did anyone ever stop to think the reason she is such a junkie, and she is messed up is beacuse of all the blame she’s getting for a murder she’s never been “PROVED” to have commited. Who knows if she did it or not… We certainly don’t have the evidence.

Most of you may know that Courtney’s father says PUBLICLY she is responsible for Kurt’s death and that she is sick-minded (i saw it on video)…Anyway her devourous ambition leaves no place for good feelings, she gets all the money Kurt still leaves her by selling of lot of albums even today, and now she’ll make an auction to sell most Kurt belongings. She respects nothing,a true punk maybe but infamous,like Sid Vicious who killed Nancy Spungen.

Ed was more of a dad to Frances than Kurt? What! Everyone should acknowledge that Kurt loved Frances so much that he decided to stick with Courtney. Otherwise, I think he would have left because if you notice, not ONE man stays with Courtney. They all leave but Kurt took his role seriously and stayed. What a heavy price.
