Reese Witherspoon to play CIA analyst in next movie.
Another middle-east political thriller is in the works. Reports say that Reese Witherspoon will star in the story of a Cairo CIA analyst who’s life gets turned upside-down when he watches the Egyptian Secret Police interrogate a foreigner. Reese is reportedly set to play the pregnant American wife of an Egyptian-born chemical engineer living in the US who is arested and sent to a third-world country as a political prisoner.
Gavin Hood is set as Director of the movie being called Rendition. Production is slated to begin this November in the U.S., Morocco, and Gavin’s native South Africa.
